I think Adam has the right perspective on this. Adam is amazing and I loved hearing him sing with Queen on AI. It would be great if he joined them again for a special performance or two (as in Queen + Adam Lambert). But nobody, nobody can ever replace Freddie, and I think the remaining band members made a promise to themselves that they never would. At least not on a permanent basis. Queen was and always will be Brian, Roger, John, and Freddie. And that's the way it should stay.

He was really good with Bad Company and "Cant' Get Enough" is still my all time favorite by that band. I think he was let go by Queen for reasons than he wasn't good enough to front Queen. In my opinion Adam would fit best with Queen as lead singer as he has an incredible range as did Freddy.

The thing people don't get about queen is that joining them means you still write your own songs. That was the band creedo from day one. You just get one of the best guitarists in history and a hell of a good drummer and all of their experience and connections to go with. "Joining Queen" doesn't mean the end of him solo, Freddie, Brian, and Roger all had successful solo albums too. Hell, 40 years after they started, Queen still gives a better concert than anyone I've seen.
