Personally I think you showed the easy part of the job. I always find taking off the inside bead the hard part. I also start at the top, work both sides and finish at the bottom. Not such a big issue on little tyres like that but since I’m not 8’ tall there is no way I could finish at the top on a 800/70R38 that some of the JD headers now have in my area. Seriously thou a big congaz to any bloke who spends their day bashing tyres cause I know what sorta job it is regardless how they do it.
if you would have put the tire on the top of the rim and pried down it would be easier as you can use your weight and gravity and not your back and mussel - I know as I changed tractor/combine/semi tires for 26 years! I have videos on youtube - Mounting / Changing Combine / Tractor Rear Tires onto Duals part 2
by the way that is Me putting that tire on. yes I do hate that! and if you need a cheeta to seat the beads than you are a pussy.all is takes is a little tire soap and you are set.
And, by the way I had to use a sawzaw to get the old forrestry tire off
ha ha done that a few times....don't ya hate it when ya get 3/4 of the way around and your vise grips pop off and ya gotta start all over ha ha...nice form by the way

good vid but starting from the top to seat the outer bead is so much easier.
starting fluid to seat this you`d make a fucking big bang and damage the tyre.
starting fluid can be used in a bind but you`d be pretty dumb to try it on a tyre that size.
it more for 4x4 tyres or strech fit vw tyres

you can use starting fluid to seat beads

It was one of the worst things they ever broadcast on TV the documentary showing lighter fuel bead seating.
Yes i suppose it,s effective till the day comes when it all goes wrong.
A ratchet strap round the middle of the tread and a little weight on the base is safer as long as the beads are sat on the final well!

I have heard of a few tire machines that will work a tire that size, and all our tires that size have tubes.
