  • Get well soon dear Robin,we need you !!! ♥♥♥XXX

  • When John Travolta started to dance, he cleared the dance floor like Moses parted the Red Sea.

This makes me want to get out my Angel Flights, put on my gold Italian horn, button down my dove tail polyester dance shirt and curl their toes and knock the rollers out of their hair.

  • I love the video and I hate to sound like a downer but its just not the same without Mo there...R.I.P. Maurice and Andy

  • Comment removed

  • WHY can't I see this show in the US?!? *sadface*

  • those 2 black womens accompanying them damn shut the fuck you ruins the song let them sing

  • Amazing how many professional musicians it took to create this original studio track "live" But what a fantastic job they made of it. I love live music and for me this was better then the original 1978 version. And don't tell me it was recorded, because this show is broadcast "LIve" !

  • i looooveee the beeee geesss i wish i could see a concert

  • Вот блядь как выступать надо, старики, а никакой фанеры, не то что русская попса ебучая.

  • What I love about dance is that it is ephemeral; what I love about music is that it is permanent. And with technology, all now eternal. Thank you for the Art, Artists! Thank you for the Heart, Audiences! And HAPPY EASTER!

  • Bravissimi, tutti! If a person has lived her or his life and within that lifetime written or performed a single perfect song -- put in the disciplined effort to become a great dancer -- and then just given the rest of us a few moments of relief from daily cares, can anyone doubt that they have accomplishes something of transcendent beauty, for the ages?

  • in terms of talent -

these guys were on another planet and in a league of their own.

    absolutely awe inspiring.

    BEEGEES 4 LIFE

  • barry still sounds better but it could've been way more better if it wasn't on his back problems which he had a surgery as you can see he on his body language at 1:20, 2:20 he still struggles reaching high notes.

  • His falsetto notes are sounding more and more with Dame Edna, as opposed to Barry Gibb.

  • I feel like a kid again! =D

  • what a legend.what happened to the music now?

  • i don't wanna they die...

i wanna bee gees for ever!

    Eternal life Bee Gees!

  • omg what a voice and live!!!!!!!:X:X:X

  • I love the Bee Gees! It's amazing how their music just makes you move. Their sound is so unique, but it's not the same without Maurice and this performance proves no one can replace his part.

  • They are still great the bee gees and disco music forever god bless them all

  • B Gs B Gs B Gs B Gs B Gs Yeahhhhh

  • Too good for reality tv. And far more talented than anyone on the tv today!

  • @SweetSesatia with that voice that sounds like a rat... AAH...AHHHHH.

  • @Mahiko2408 well at least he doesnt sound like a she devil like ugly lady gaga!

  • there voices as not changed one bit i love the bee gees there one of the best if not the best

  • I love the wat Kristina looks at Ola then nods and goes for it!!

  • Robin doesn't look well or musical and he has no rhythm, he's making me feel uncomfortable

  • great to see barry and robin again but this performance is not the same without Maurice to complete the harmony on the song and most especially being in charge of the sound engineering and remixing and also with credits to John Merchant.

  • this is music you can dance to xx

  • THEY should have had the dancers dressed up for disco dancing...even more DANCING DISCO....AHHHHHHHH

  • Awesome!

  • Únicos

  • It is so good to hear they're still performing together in spite of the loss of their brother, Maurice...

  • Unadulterated puerile excrement!

  • @Jennings03 Who's fault is it that your soul is deplorably devoid of rhythm and that your ears are composed of stone, hmn?? : )

  • incredible dances & memories..

  • es increible que aun conserve su voz...a pesar de los años...genial...

  • best dancers to have james and ola and brian and kristina

  • there's no such thing as too much Bee Gees :)

  • God Bless The Bee Gees because they look & sound great. Yet I'm sad that their brother has passed on. May he rest in peace. As much as I love the pro dancers in Dancing with The Stars here in the States, I like the dancers in this video than the American DWTS pros because their moves are very sharp & super fast. No wonder Europeans win more dance contest than us Americans.

  • Jody Linscott is the percussionist--best in the world!

  • fabolous xxbabs

  • @blondiebabs legends !!! they are just amazing love them forever x

  • Robin is so suave, sexy and cool. Barry is silver haired and still fine as ever! The Bee Gees are in a league all by themselves.

  • they are legends ;D

  • I'm sorry, but These guys represent the stealing and raping of a type of black music called "funk"

Funk was a style of music started in the 50's and made popular after Sly and the family stone brought it to the radio with thier lp "dance to the music" (1968)

The BeeGees turn it into trash for cash.

to hear more interesting rock history stories, check out my youtube channel

  • No.

The Bee Gees were doing R&B, they avoided funk elements up until 'Love You Inside Out'.

    You're talking out your arse.

  • @LukeShoveller Talking out my arse? This beat is clearly a rip off of a Curtis mayfield tune.

you're just a fan of this garbage. this pop trash with no soul. a white exploitation of blackmusic.

  • Please show me this Curtis Mayfield tune you speak of.

I'm a big fan of soul, and the Bee Gees were terrific with the soul they sang, there are few better white soul vocalists than Barry or Robin Gibb, and that is present in the '60s records that they did as well as the '70s records, they wrote tracks specifically with black soul in mind. An example would be To Love Somebody and 'End Of My Song' both being written for Otis Redding, just before he died, I'm pretty sure that had soul.

  • The BeeGees are a class act. They are timeless!

  • Hey, it's Jody Linscott on percussion and Tim Cansfield on guitar! Looks like half of Swing Out Sister is on stage here !

  • Tim, who first played with them 20 years ago, also played when they did their Prince's Trust gig in 2006, so he's a favoured player!

  • Hey, it's Jody Linscott on percussion!

  • To the left at 3:53

    FAIL.

  • good lord their mics are awful

  • How hot were those 2 girls doing that move at 3:04? Matter of fact how hot were those 2 girls period. WOW. Hot track with hot girls, it's only right.

  • who's the girl on the left?

  • Ignorant? that doesn't make any sense you stupid asshole

  • و الله زمان...زكريات العشق!!!

  • amazing love t hem so much xxxx

so much love in them xxxxhugs babe xxx

  • WTF? He sounds great! Jesus. If I could hit those notes at his age.....

  • I feel this thread, albeit my own, has outlived it's purpose Luke... if it had any in the first place? The "cold" and "sad" comment I made was an "in joke" for someone. I live on a small island in the Irish Sea and know Robin, Barry and their mother Barbara quite well as a result. Robin and Barry and their familes got the humour, as I'm 100% sure Mo did too God bless him. Sorry for involving you. No offence meant to you in the slightest Luke.

  • PS - Barry and Robin are the first to acknowledge the age thing regarding both their voices. As a heads up, Barry is currently writing a lot of new Bee Gee's material for 2010/2011 which is a whole octave lower than SNF et al. A sensible move in my opinion.

  • They've been writing an octave lower than SNF since Living Eyes...

  • Ah, that's the issue when posting in jokes for people who won't read them while people are free to comment who won't be aware of the hidden double meaning when it is clear that it could be taken to mean something far different that what you may have intended, isn't it.

  • Contentious!

  • Odd how you reply when you and 'TEN' are entirely different people, isn't it. ;)

  • Not really, I am in constant contact with at least 18 other people her, I am not the parochial leper you are Harry!

  • At least the nurses are treating you well.

  • Harry, just keep smoking the pistols.

  • My comment was clearly subjective Luke. As a result I can't be proven right or wrong. It's my opinion based on the fact that Barry can't hold a note like he used to. It comes to everyone eventually due to the ageing process of the human vocal chords.

  • 62 year old falsetto is never going to be the same as 32 year old falsetto, however his natural voice remains as stable as ever.

  • Oh.

  • Hence my suggestion you view other clips which include the more suited 60's tracks, etc. Sorry for not making my point at all clear in the first place.

  • It's cold and it's sad and Barry's voice has gone :-(

  • It hasn't, have a look at the other videos from this year, if you'd enjoy being proved otherwise.:)

Natural voice is always the way.

  • great to see them back. barry's voice has got even squeekier lol its great feel good music

  • Good to see the brothers performing again. I'm looking forward to new music from Robin and Barry in 2010, and a US tour.

  • I love the bee gees i have so much that plizzz enjoy it the music of the 80´s its really beauty!! and i repeat the same of torresglend!! I need some bee gees in a concert os something like that!! or ¿no?

  • what show is this crap i was looking for dancing with the stars

  • This show is the original and the best Strictly Come Dancing. You see, in England we come up with our OWN ideas for shows and America copy them.

  • i think the only person i recognize on the band at the back is Tim Cansfield taking the part of Allan Kendall

  • i really hate to say this but i think aging is taking part of the performance, i can really sense it from barry's falsetto but if mo was still alive i guess this wouldn't happen but still it doesn't matter they're still the BeeGees, one of the greatest ever!

  • In these tough econimical times we need more Beegees 2 lighten up our lives :)

  • @Torreslegend you have a good point

  • Yes mmorrison69 yes, the BeeGees are successul because Elvis Presley, Celine Dion, Tom Jones, Red Hot Clili Peppers, Status Quo, Barbara Streisand, Kenny Rogers, Take That, Boyzone, Ozzy Osbourne, Rod Stewart, Michael Bolton, Julio Iglesias, Janis Joplin, Diana Ross, NSYNC, Bonnie Tyler, Conway Twitty ........... have recorded bee gee's songs.

  • The world is full of ignorant, you're one of them.

  • i think it's you that needs to get a grip, i was given the link in an email because the performance was so ridiculously bad, thats why i went on it dumbass, and yes i do have posters on the wall of them, and underwear

  • @ mmorisson You may have posters of bee gees and their underwear, but you will never have perfect straight teeth like Barry Gibb or disco-leg like Robin Gibb - those are the true reasons you're jealous of them. You see, every time you comment here, you are checkin' em out, which means it's something you enjoy doing. It's ok to come out as a Bee Gee fan, you know. Not that we need you, but just saying, don't be embarrased about your true feelings towards the Bee Gees. Become one with the truth.

  • this is for mmorrison69, if you don't like the bee gees music, then you need to get a grip and go elsewhere. these guys are the greatest guys on earth. alot of people could learn alot from them. so no more bad mouthing two of the best men alive. they are the best and so were their brothers andy and maurice.

  • @mmorrison69 You've got all their albums haven't you? Your really a die-hard fan but don't want anyone else knowing it....You have their posters all over your walls dont u... I mean why else would you listen to the performance if u don't like em?

As you should have already noticed, no one here wants you to like the Bee Gees, we just want you to fuck off to your own territory (Jonas Bros or Britney Spears is probably more your thing :) ...... are you STILL THERE looking for our attention....???

  • So glad they done this performance - hopefully there will be much more to come!!

  • im so happy these guys decided to perform again. the world needs the bee gees

  • I miss number 3

  • oh dear.....as good as they were i think its time

  • I agree with LukeShoveller and not only have they written some of the greatest songs ever, performed amazying concerts and been going for so long.

  • @mmorrison69

And that, is your minority opinion. :)

  • Morrison: if they were so bad, please explain why they were so succesful...

  • You are so transparent; you're just jealous coz ur not as succesful as them. It's that simple.

  • @mmorrison

ps. you said music is about opinion. Well you have your opinion and we have ours - don't come here telling people to see a psychiatrist because of THEIR opinion. I think YOUR opinion requires you to see a psychiatrist - the whole music industry would advise YOU to see a psychiatrist if you have a problem with the Bee Gees! They are the one of the greatest music groups of ALL TIME. And who are you, mmorrison69 to say Bee Gees suck - you obviously aint no expert in music.

  • Theses guys are the greatest of all times I just love them :)

  • @mmorrison69

Guess you've only heard one set of Bee Gees songs then.

2nd most successful songwriters after Lennon and Mccartney, and if you see any of their live performances from maybe a genre you might like, you'll see why their vocals are rated so hardly.

And I can say that with bias aside.

  • For example, maybe, looking at an opposite watch?v=BYR2avDTapI

Or we could delve into the rest of the 800 composition big catalogue. (Smug chuckle)

But I don't know your personal taste, if this isn't it, then it is advisable not to watch youtube videos of it.

It's what I do with vapid pop.

  • it's great that Barry and Robin are back together and still rocking but they need to find some more back up falsetto voices to back barry 's voice.

  • @joeb1963

They did in his solo Sound Relief performance in March, it's just something that needs some time to organise I guess.

  • great...I'm so happy they sing together again

  • Well done, Kim! NICE HAIR CUT!

  • nice

  • Nice to see two of them back anyway. :)

  • *stars

  • Thanks Luke! I'll be watching for them! We would go to see them every year back in the day, here on Long Island, NY. Would love to see what's left of them again if we ever get a chance. They sure dare to be different...I like that!

  • Thanks Luke. We'll be watching for them. We'd see them every year in concert here on Long Island, NY. Would love to do that again. They dare to be different! I like that!

  • just a quick comment to those who posted negative comments "knocking" their return performance.out of all their songs this one must be the hardest song to sing also a tv studio is far from ideal. cant wait to see them back on the big stage in concert. love d bee gees....love them love them love them!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE the Bee Gee's, but this was rather painful! They need the BIG stage, not a tv set. Maybe that would help??? Still luv 'em though---they do what they do...that's the Bee Gee's!

  • Excellent Performance.

  • You shouldn't be singing.

  • Marabeelloso video... graciassssssssssss... que felicidad verlos cantar juntos nuevamente y tan bien como años atràs... AMO a BEE GEES...

    Saludos....

  • one of the funniest thinsg ever!

  • definitely a victory lap, but they deserved the honour

  • Alright.

My view is it just needs the usual Bee Gees live production. Take two on the 17th then. :)

  • Not that you were doing that, but if you are a fan, then you should be happy, if not, then you have no need to care.:)

  • And then you didn't take my advice and view what you may prefer.

They'll be singing on the US version next week and I've heard them sing before this and it was business as usual so I wouldn't go out declaring the end is nigh apocalypto condemnation style.

  • @LukeShoveller Do you know what they'll be appearing on in NY? Is it "So You Think You Can Dance?" I give a lot of credit to them for for coming back! They'll always be the BeeGee's- they are what they are, and do what they do! Love it or Leave it. : )

  • @grandmautube

It's Dancing With The Star's they'll be on. :) Should be a grander stage.

  • robin gibb is a great dancer. haha

  • THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVER!,,Just the Best ever ,,,we love you guys & welcome back together,,,Nothing could make me Happier than This! Love you ! ,,Denise

  • I agree Denise it is a wonderful comeback video. This is 1st time they have sang together in 7 years I think it is an amazing start.

  • They're still the greatest living legend. performers, songs writers, musicians, genius.

    missing a lot Moris'

they sound amazing! next year will be their

50 anniversary, God bless them and keep them

their incomparable voices. BEE GEES FOREVER!

  • Rockin' Robin! Welcome back boys - we missed you! Outstanding performance.

  • I'm really really happy that they're back!

I read that they will appear in "Dancing with Stars" around Nov 17.

As my area has no "Dancing with Stars", I hope that somebody will upload it.

  • Wow! The Bee Gees are back, looking and sounding great!!! RIP Mo, we miss you.
