  • You're a nice guy and have a good since of humor about this thanks for sharing the video. Half way through though I almost wanted to cry because I had so many relatives that've passed and some that live with cancer today and deafly afraid of inheriting it. This does hit too close to home but thanks for sharing it

  • I'm happy you did so well with the chemo. I hope it never comes back. I was diagnosed with and lived with metastisized cancer for 6 months. Then another CT scan showed it hadn't spread, so now he thinks it's something else. You seem like a smart and good person. I wish you good health always.

  • @juliaflo2223 Thanks for writing. My 3 year anniversary of being diagnosed is on Aug-28-10. I am happy to say that I am in full health, back to life and actively involved in a non-profit raising awareness about esophageal cancer. If you would, please join the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association (ecaware.org)

  • I hope you the best. Isn't a doctor supposed to do all that to you not yourself?

  • @machocamach016 There are certain treatments which are administered completely by your oncologist; there are others however that are only partially administered by your oncologist. This treatment was the latter and is a standard practice for the drugs used. Thanks for your interest/post.

Actually, that heparin falls under anticoagulant, and not steriod. The whole purpose for injecting the heparin last is to keep your access like patent.
