The only way NL can get more expense is if the NL buys A WHOLE BUNCH OF C.Ilbis or Hwabis or if they r dexless and needa buy Luk Robes and Skandas

I mean, you said NL have to buy claws and pots but everybody needs to buy pots and a weapon, lol.

NL have to buy stars and it costs practically nothing to recharge them but remember that shadowers also have to buy an attack shield, usually the only attack shields that are considered "good"are 1b+ D: Also NL get hit a lot less than shadowers.

NL's don't have to buy stars any more than shadowers HAVE to buy a scrolled shield. a 16 att dragon khanjar's good enough for most people, and it's cheap as hell (MAYBE 10m for a clean 16 att).

C ilbis / fury stars are like 90-100m EACH, anyway. And I'm assuming most people want at LEAST good sets of stars, right? (understatement)

It just depends on how strong you want your char to be.

Well i think you have to understand that there are certain outcast jobs in maplestory shadowers aren't the only one there paladin,crossbowman, etc. but in the end those are pro because people stick with them cause they have fun with them not because they're rich or they level fast

I'm a 16x Shadower and I've been around for a good while actually. When I started out there were virtually no bandits at that time. There have been a lot more people making bandits now, and at first people would say that we are some of the nicest people, which is true, but I am noticing a lot lately there are bandits/shads who are following that whole digit freak scenario. I can't stand people who look down on others because of their dmg or attacking ability.

1) his control is fine, these are pretty big monsters to manuever around. I have trouble doing it at times.

Assaulter ignores weapon defense He did a 16K with an Asaulter. He is not weak, he is average. Just like my Shadower. But i aint DEXles, i am STRless. I play a game for fun. So i will not call anyone crap or trash in a game. I do wonder why people care so much about digits.

No it doesn't ignore defense like assaulter does and don't forget these monsters have some of the highest defense in the game.

That would lower anyones damage so point in case his damage is fine.

Im sorry, but it is. Most of the Maplers only look at the digits. Partys are mainly a Bishop and a NL. At bosses, its 1 BM, 1 Bishop (maybe 1 DK, if he is needed, and if they need him, the level should be as low as possible) and the rest are NL. I dont care about exp, damage and stuff. But you will hardly see a Shadower with a Bishop, cause Shadowers have the weakest 3th and 4th job. NL and Bishops are the easyest. However, i am happy to be a Shadower, we mix skills, other classes dont do that:)

@keyatsue Even if people know how to use them, i use him for 4 to 5 years now. No one wants to party with me (Priests just do it till 4th job) reason: its faster with a Nightlord (Bishop), or faster with a bishop (other classes). There is one lvl 200 Shadower, while most Bishops and NLs have multiple 200's. And the top 50 exists out of 50% Magicians, 10% NL. I have played alot of characters, but i keep sticking with my Shadower. Its just more fun, even tough it might be slower.

but dont forget playing as a NL requires alot of money for stars and other crap... its alot more expensive then a shadower... But NL have like vaguish looking skills, Shadowers skills look beast! ;)

@keyatsue A Nightlord makes money when training. I lose money while training (10 mil for 2% at level 110) And now 2 mil, for an hour (1.5%). An NL makes money while training. Same forClerics and Bishops. But Shadowers have more skills, and are therefore more fun.

Not really. 4x exp is pretty much a must at 120+. As a shadower i can gain could gain 60%/hr with 4x at an average newt party during 12x, then 13x i did skeles with a priest and another attacker, and got about the same, but a bit less, 50%/hour, since its sorta harder at 13x than 12x. With a bishop though, i could get 75-80%/hour at skeles. But thats on 4x. My friend who's a 17x bishop got .5%/min, or 30%/hour on 4x when splitting with an AM. Craaaazy exp especially for that level.
