yes it is Spirit's song from 1969 that I have playing in my head since then (I was 15 !)...please do a youtube search "randy california hey joe" to see the band's last live performance...i hope the band receives a resurgence of interest as a result of the inclusion of thei song, which maybe will be on the soundtrack?????
