mmm... long parades. I marched the Tournament of Roses parade (5.5 miles) twice with two different bands. The first time we didn't even go to a trail arms and it was corps style marching so it was difficult. Second time was with a show band. Much easier! By the end I thought it went quickly

@stephenj2 7 miles man i been in a 12 miles parade and playing the biggest bass drum we have and it has huge as grambling bass drum that sits on wheels, and i had to use a strap, but we still marching and during the last 4 miles the drumline started dancing and we just a high school band.
