I would love this idea: Cartoon Network lets us know 6 months in advance that an event is coming... for 1 whole month, Cartoon Network would revert to nothing but original 90's and early 2000's programs WITH the original bumpers and promos. It would start say... October 1st - November 1st, 2012 (in commemoration of CN's 20th Anniversary). If they let us know now, imagine the Millions upon millions of people who would live back their memories.. And CN's ratings would shoot way past the roof.
I think Cartoon Network made the most horrible downfall compared to Nickelodeon and Disney Channel combined. At least Nickelodeon is OFFICIALLY bringing back their 90's programs like Rugrats, Kenan and Kel and All That (which I love) to TeenNick. It's the greatest idea that Cartoon Network is too ignorant to come up with.

Este canal lo veía todos los días, no me perdía programas como The Bugs and Daffy Show, Super Chunk (que en sudamerica se le llamó de otra forma, algo de gordito xD), Tom y Jerry, entre otros clásicos. Si bien ha cambiado mucho el formato de CN, el formato antiguo le daba un ambiente genial y algo misterioso al canal. Ojalá algún día, por un aniversario aunque sea, decidan transmitir con todos los bumpers y programas de esa época, lo vería todó el día! xD!
@Yecity33 a mi parecer los comerciales de esos años en CN eran definitvamente más graciosos e impredecibles que los que están ahora al aire, lleno de dibujos y si te fijas los bumpers de todos los dibujos que pasaban por esa época siempre tenían que ver con los personajes haciendo cosas graciosas e irreverentes, por eso lo llamo misterioso, aunque si se me ocurriría otra palabra la cambiaría =D

@mydad95 Couple of things wrong with your statement. I'm not a carton watcher, im a cartoon watcher. CN was good till late 2007. I LOVED Camp Lazlo, and My Gym Partners a Monkey was decent if there was nothing else to watch. And the Hub is GREAT from 8:30-10:00 PM when OLD Batman (1966), G1 Transformers (1984), and Original G.I. Joe (1985) are on. Oh, and Discovery Kids ended in 2010, not 2009.

I think some shows are decent on the channel, but a lot are just retarded. Like CN Real, since it's CARTOON Network, and they add REALITY on a CARTOON channel. Heck, I'd rather watch Discovery Channel rather than CN. But that show on CN Adventure Time is funny sometimes, like a 6 in my opinion.

Samurai Jack and Invader ZIM were the last hopes for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. After they were canceled, all hope was lost. Cartoons began to suck and every single one of them became a stupid comedy with no real humor at all. The age of slutty pop stars and horrible, repetitive sitcoms was emerging, and everything was going down the crap-hole. And to top it off, the stupid idiots at what used to be "Cartoon Network" came up with the worst idea in the history of ever: CN Real (WTF).

and wtf happened to boomerang? that was meant to be a cartoon network channel from the old days when cartoons where superb but even then, these new shows just came from fkin nowhere and cluttered up that prog as well - now i dont mind Bean tbh but why the hell is it on boomerang of all places? plus Nick had their hands on that show first so CN is looking a bit desperate

Este canal lo veía todos los días, no me perdía programas como The Bugs and Daffy Show, Super Chunk (que en sudamerica se le llamó de otra forma, algo de gordito xD), Tom y Jerry, entre otros clásicos. Si bien ha cambiado mucho el formato de CN, el formato antiguo le daba un ambiente genial y algo misterioso al canal. Ojalá algún día, por un aniversario aunque sea, decidan transmitir con todos los bumpers y programas de esa época, lo vería todó el día! xD!

@Yecity33 a mi parecer los comerciales de esos años en CN eran definitvamente más graciosos e impredecibles que los que están ahora al aire, lleno de dibujos y si te fijas los bumpers de todos los dibujos que pasaban por esa época siempre tenían que ver con los personajes haciendo cosas graciosas e irreverentes, por eso lo llamo misterioso, aunque si se me ocurriría otra palabra la cambiaría =D

@mydad95 Couple of things wrong with your statement. I'm not a carton watcher, im a cartoon watcher. CN was good till late 2007. I LOVED Camp Lazlo, and My Gym Partners a Monkey was decent if there was nothing else to watch. And the Hub is GREAT from 8:30-10:00 PM when OLD Batman (1966), G1 Transformers (1984), and Original G.I. Joe (1985) are on. Oh, and Discovery Kids ended in 2010, not 2009.

I think some shows are decent on the channel, but a lot are just retarded. Like CN Real, since it's CARTOON Network, and they add REALITY on a CARTOON channel. Heck, I'd rather watch Discovery Channel rather than CN. But that show on CN Adventure Time is funny sometimes, like a 6 in my opinion.

Samurai Jack and Invader ZIM were the last hopes for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. After they were canceled, all hope was lost. Cartoons began to suck and every single one of them became a stupid comedy with no real humor at all. The age of slutty pop stars and horrible, repetitive sitcoms was emerging, and everything was going down the crap-hole. And to top it off, the stupid idiots at what used to be "Cartoon Network" came up with the worst idea in the history of ever: CN Real (WTF).
