Glee is a cheesy TV show that takes advantage of popular music to make itself popular. WHY would I imagine music I like to be sung karaoke-style on Glee. I get that in some cases, Glee actually is able to lift an unknown (or semi-unknown) artist into the spot-light, and basically "make" them, and that's great, but for an artist who's already made it, it would be an embarrassing sellout.

@screwyootube1 I agree with the fact that Iron & Wine and other amazing groups shouldn't be featured on Glee. But I was thinking of the song in itself, not the singer, do you get what I mean?

@chuls2465 I get what you mean, I just don't look at it that way. I don't want to picture a bunch of cutesy TV actors singing this song. I think that spoils the image of the song. I'd rather picture the singer, perhaps singing to a pretty girl, in a picturesque setting, such as a... tree by a river.

Bottom line... to each his/her own...
