  • I prefer drawing bald people!!

  • you are an awsome awsome drawer but i have one sulution for you, if you talk less you can get more in a video and not have to put a part 2 or 3... i looove your drawings but hold up a little on yuhr talking. i see your trying to explain but your going a little over board...LOOVE UR ART!!

  • How about curly hair? Is there any video how to do realistic curly hair?

  • your amazing at drawing no doubt. but why fight your wrists built in joint. you dont need to turn the page around, just pull out instead of towards yourself

  • @blackice7317 It's easier to flip the page, because if you twist your wrists you will not get the look you desire.

  • really helpful thanks !

  • Thank you! What kind of eraser is that???

  • @speedylife12 Looks like a standard kneaded eraser...

  • @speedylife12 I'm Michelle and I work with Darrel at the 5-Pencil Method! Yep! It is a kneaded eraser! Darrel uses the eraser in the form of a teardrop to take out highlights and such in hair. He also uses the electric eraser for this, as well. Have you gotten the opportunity to take the free lessons? I encourage you to sign up for them! Lots of drawing techniques shared for free! I'll put the link to them in the video description for you! Thanks, Michelle

  • @5PencilMethod Ah thank you very much! I think I'll sign up now ^_^

  • you got skills dude o.O

  • what was your eraser?

  • hi its me jacob, and i was wondering if you can substitute something for the brush thx!

  • @BlackBeltArts I usually use a bit of tissue or a tortillon and get similar results :)

  • @BlackBeltArts use a blusher brush, or any kind of a make up brush if you want. a paint brush could work aswell =) fingers, tissues, stumps blend it slightly "too" much. So if you are going to use either of them, make sure you use it fairly lightly.

  • @BlackBeltArts Hi! I'm Michelle and I work with Darrel at the 5-Pencil Method. @nanaifyify is correct, Darrel uses the brush because anything else (tissues, blending stumps or qtips) or ruin your drawing you've worked so hard on. As Darrel shows, he uses the brush to spread around the excess graphite, to give more depth and dimension. You don't want to risk scoring to tearing your paper, because that is something you won't be able to repair! Hope this helps! -MIchelle
