  • Che meraviglia :-)

  • This is beautiful :) Que magnifico! Hermosa pieza!

    Arriba Vivaldi y Bach!

  • beautiful counterpoint. Impressive for pre- "gradus ad parnassum". Fux probably used works like this to define counterpoint.

  • Fantastic !!!

  • Stunning piece of music.

  • Baroque is by far my favourite, Torelli is a leader.

  • it IS A Minor! off course, the A used here is a Hz 415 plays g# on the piano(if tuned 440 Hz! ;)

  • does anyone know the name of this painting?

  • i wonder if this composer had an influence on vivaldis style...can anyone cast light on this for me please?

  • exceptional

  • It's a very beautiful piece. i am very grateful that you've uploaded so many wonderful recordings many of which were previously unknown to me. :-)

  • Very dramatic and mysterious which are stylistic gestures in Baroque art.

  • Anybody know where i can get the sheet music for this?

  • Torelli is an exceptional antesigna of Corelli and Vivaldi & Scarlatti

  • J'adore Torelli!

  • Such a stylish concerto! Very clear melodic lines and tutti-solo alternations. This didn't seem to contain the concerto style, though. Seemed like the solo sections were polyphonic. I could hear the concertato and the ritornello elements.

  • @Genevois1205 E' proprio vero, hai ragione.

  • Brilliant

  • Torelli is really great Genius!

  • THANKS FOR UPLOAD

  • Torelli died so young! 1685 - 1709! Gosh! 24!

  • jonathantosio Torelli born in 1658

  • Haha...!!

    *hides*

  • One of the best concerts i ever listen and I allways think that this was in E Minor! :)

  • Well, the CD says A minor, so I'll trust it. I have some cds with mistakes on them before actually. I have an older Beethoven cd saying Beethoven's life was from 1770 to 1927!

  • My cd says E Minor! hehehehe :) It's called: Concerti: Torelli, Mossi, Valentini, Locatelli and Leo. Same ensemble! :) The A Minor is the Giuseppe Valentini concerto. :)

  • Okay, becuase I have a reissue of that particular CD and it says A minor for both the Valentini and Torelli. I'll trust you and change it.

  • I hope that i'm right! :) But who cares! It's marvellous music. :)

  • The music is written in A minor...I am playing along with the CD and it has a C#, an F# and a G# (I am going to order this music because I just love it..you have some great violin music Harmonico!)

  • @HARMONICO101,

It sounds A minor. Anyway, I may be mistaken or they played a concerto E minor in A minor.

  • @HARMONICO101 Ha! If only!
