That guy in the audience is obnoxious. You can tell the trainer is getting pissed trying to deal with him. Seems like he's one of those cocksuckers who can't watch a show without trying to get involved in the act.
Parrots can do math as long as it isnt too difficult and they were extensively trained. I doubt this parrot though, I think that they just trained it to answer only a few questions, probably in order. I would like to see an audience member give it a question.
the bird is copying from what it has learned in the past, its just repeating and responding to a phase with a single answer. Alex the african parrot, now that is the only known parrot that can understand the questions and you can tell cos he spends time thinking before he answers. search for alex the parrot on youtube, you will be amazed.
