Hi there..like i've stated in the info coloumn, self explanatory. Some of Malaysia & Singapore Malays ethnic group are actually a mixture of immigrant from Indonesia. Kuda Lumping or Kuda Kepang were most practices by the Javanese ethnic from Indonesia. Thanks for watching.

They stole wayang kulit, batik, silat and many others from Indonesia. The indonesian government is not doing anything. But officially the wayang, the batik ,thekris and the angklung has been recognized by the unesco as indonesian so they cannot say it is malay anymore...
To some, it is just a dance. But to others, it is appeasing spirits. Although most of the people who does this are Malays and this dance originates from Indonesia, but these performers now also go ...

me as if Indonesia is very proud of our cultural arts are introduced in other countries, but I do not accept that art and culture truly original Indonesian art patented as malaysia's native culture!
I truly understand your sentiment but are you aware that most of the Johorian in Malaysia & the Malays descendent in Singapore mostly came from Jawa???? Hence, Kuda Kepang or Kuda Lumping has became part of the culture since it was taught/passed on by their forefather. FYI, my late grandma is a descendant of Raden Mas Rangsang or the known Sultan Agung Prabu Hanyokrokusumo.
