You can buy this song on iTunes from the self-titled album. If you don't want to buy it, there is a free podcast called "KEXP Song of the Day" on iTunes, and if you subscribe(for free) to it, you'll see that the October 25, 2007 podcast was this song.
I suppose the song is called Merry Land by a band called Hey Hey My My. Damn! I just found that out too. I had assumed (having a proper and vivid imagination) that the Quaker Oats company was showing a girl, (wholesome girl), and shouting out the answer behind the psychology of Gilligans Island. Do you go for stunning and high maintenance, or very pretty, but approachable and someone you can talk go, with the Quaker Oats people shouting out the overwhelming answer. Was I wrong?
Yeah, duh. Did a search and all I got was this clip. So hey hey my my is supposed to be the name of a group and merryland is supposed to be the name of a song? I guess I'm not used to reading bad/NO punctuation or UNcapitalized titles, so I got confused as to what the 'title' was suppposed to mean. Again, anyone know/remember the songs from "The Point"? (See the quotation marks and capitalization?) lol
Nazi huh?? lol Well that just goes to show you it's all perception. I just couldn't understand because I'm used to proper spelling and punctuation with all the reading and typing I do. Call me old school, but I usually have to block/ignore people online who spell phonetically, because I just can't make it out! My brain can't seem to figure out most mis-spelled stuff online because I grew up reading proper books and newspapers and magazines! Don't hate me because I'm well-educated and smart! LMAO
Yes, I have an education as well. I grew up reading, writing, etc. I was just implying that you were being, well, a bit of a Grammar Nazi. You could have just as easily been nice about it, but instead you went batshit crazy over it. But I'm not one for arguing with people over the Interwebs. So let's just say you win and be done with it.
Batshit crazy....way to take the high road. LOL Oh dear, tut, tut tut, I wont say anything negative but I will offer some clarification:
You LITERALLY TYPED OUT 'batshit crazy' - NO IMPLICATION THERE, but a direct attack. And I will reiterate; it's all perception as I WAS being nice about it just explaining it-plain and simple- no attack, just what happens when I try to read and understand some ppls online comments. and let THAT be the end of it. sheesh! *eyes rolling*
it's actually bullshit. i made up that phrase " go...go" when i was on my horse. fucken assholes stole it from me. it was orginally "go daisy go" (daisy is on my horse). haa
LOVE IT... it really gives you power if u r a heavy workout player, or extrememly active.

Who does this song? What's it called? Reminds me of Nilsson. Remember the animated tv movie "The Point"? 1973 I think.
