  • i was gonna live in that house

wen my grandparents house got flooded they stayed up on a huge house up the hill behind the camera person and it was up for sale at 700,000 bucks

  • hey i live here :p

  • is this near the library

  • thats my house!

  • i know the summer was bad in iowa

  • What a disaster! Those poor people.

  • When you showed the water lapping at the windows of that house, it reminded me of my younger days when I was parking down there with my boyfriend. The residents came out and asked us to leave. When you're young you park anywhere you can find some privacy---even someones driveway? Hey, we were young. What can I say?

  • i dont mind not showering

  • wow i have lived in mason city antil March anyway i feel sorry for everythere not having any water i dont want to feel selfish !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i so would not like taking a shower !!

  • is that a frank lloyd wright home that is next to the river?

  • Very good question! This home located at 525 E State Street, Mason City, Iowa was originally designed by Walter Burley Griffen who studied Frank Lloyd Wright's "Prairie School" designs. The home had modifications conceived by Barry Byrne who took over Griffins architect practice. Thank you for your interest, Estaben52

  • A note of interest. Contractor Chris Rye built this home for Sam Schneider in 1915!

  • Wow in almost 56 years that I have lived here the water has never been this high! Those poor people!

  • Wow. Thanks for sharing.
