These guys were staples of FM radio in the '70s, along with other english blues based bands like Savoy Brown. Guitarist Mick Jones later joined some little band called Foreigner. Gary Wright went on to be come the Dream Weaver.

Saw "Spooky Tooth" in London summer 2009 - (Gary Wright and Mike Harrison). They were on as part of Island records 50th anniversary. They had some great session players with them, and did a superb version of "I am the walrus" that was seriously heavy; Wright and Harrison's voices still had that sound we all know. It was sad Mike Kellie was not there-had hoped he would be as he had been gigging with them in recent times.

I happen to own the 1974 American Island pressing.... this album is lovely... I also do have the 45 which has this song as the B-side and an edited version of Hell or High Water as the A-side.

This album couldn't be rated 5 stars.... 12 stars would be more like it!
