Brilliant work Tony, inspired me to join the Mob as a Bubblehead (in the joining process atm), brilliant story about calamity capnot, although my old man heard that story when he done his SD's Course in the early 70's, he also served in the Falklands but he was a sundodger in the 'O' class diesel boats so didnt get ashore at all
Why cant they use an electronic device to lower the voices heard to better understand them? You guys defined work for every damn "hapeme" or penny you get. I don't care how much you get paid that is some challenging stuff. Good work man.
I don't really understand your question. You can't pressureize an atmospheric suit, it doesn't work like that. Also you would still have the problem you have with sat divers, ie the decreasing percentages of O2 in the breathing mixture. Tony
If you got a big enough saturation diving bell, in where, at 600m deep, suit one of your divers with an atmospheric diving suit. (wich would already be at 60atm), then, could he go even deeper until reaching the maximum pressure diferential for the suit itself?
Of course, the suit joints might stop working at such extreme pressures.
It might work in Hollywood, I mean as a film script. Is that what you're after?
There are few problems in reality. ie. launching the suit from a bell. There's no bells anywhere near big enough. Also, the one atm suits aren't desinged to work with 60 atm inside them, in fact I doubt they would work.
@Groupie59 She's apparently working out in South-East Asia and went through a re-fit not so long ago. For "re-fit", read "probably just given a fresh coat of paint".
Good luck with the the course then Drummer boy. Let me know how you get on. Tony

If we used an atmospheric diving suit, presurized for a saturation diver, how deep could we go?
(Atmospheric suits can go up to 800m, and the saturation divers can reach up to 600m)

@Groupie59 I'll rephrase my question ^_^

Saying that, its an idea for a movie!

Where is a better school. International diving institute, or the ocean corporation in Houston, Texas?
