Very nice! I myself am a senior in high school and thusly trying to get into a university on Bass. Im thinking about going to City College in New York since John Patitucci teaches there. Does anyone know anything on this subject?

the Jazz program at City is Double Bass oriented and will almost definitely not take electric bass players. Email Scott Reeves at the ccny music department!

I did hear though that there would be some kind of electric program at CCNY since patitucci is on staff.

Well you can play electric also and you can play electric in the ensembles, but im pretty sure you need to play upright to enroll in the jazz performance program.
