i wish they did music videos like some earlyer ones such as Rain but after brian epstein death the last 3 albums they just didnt bother . not like the early years when they were touring and and making movies .the only time they get togther is few days in the studio to make an album it was like a job. it was the start of the break up so realy this song was about them (come togther) but its sad coz it was just too little too late :(

It is so we do not just think they were just another great band, so we look closer and listen a little better. @nomura8 I didn't write it. I just like the overall message, so I reposted it. I have heard music from each of the artists listed, but I'm still more impressed by the classics. The problem with most (I say most, not all) of today's music is that it has been autotuned, which defeats the purpose of pure talent/music. This being said, I do enjoy Owl City and Lady Gaga because there's real talent there. For me, Daft Punk is the only group that utilizes autotune in an overall appealing way.

Personally, I'm not too bothered if a song's been "ripped off" or not, I just thought they sounded quite similar, that's all. I love listening to Oasis and someone told me that a lot of of their riffs have been taken from Beatles' songs.

@bookworm1138 Whether a song is "ripped off" or not is merely down to the perception of the listener, it's not anything official. Personally, I'm not too bothered if a song's been "ripped off" or not, I just thought they sounded quite similar, that's all. I love listening to Oasis and someone told me that a lot of of their riffs have been taken from Beatles' songs.
If that's true then it didn't do them any harm, did it?

@bookworm1138 It's just that most songs that are apparently 'bringing their musical vision to life' aren't really. It sounds better if you have some sort of originality, and the commercial music changes with society. Would Hendrix have been considered the best guitarist if he hadn't altered his songs at pretty much every live performance or recording? Would I even know who Lady Gaga was if she didn't dress like an oddball all the time and have rumours about her being a hermaphrodite?
