I remember in the 60's when we started the tradition of singing the Alma Mater song after a game, win or lose. When the first few notes were played, the arena would fall into a hush, the players stood facing the De La Salle stand and the De La Salle community sing their praise to the Alma Mater. Even the opposing team and their fans kept silent and applauded to show their respect. Soon after other schools followed our lead. Thanks Bro Malachy and Bro Richard for this song! Hail! Hail! Hail!
