The bombings and violence by the Weather Underground were NOT small matters. They were lucky more people were not killed by their actions. Ayers is lucky he was not in that townhouse when his girlfriend, another Weather Underground member, and two other members were blown to bits when the bombs they were building went off. Those bombs were meant for an NCO dance at Fort Dix and the Columbia University library.

Ayers should be in a federal prison. He aoided prosecution on a technicality.
