I remember watching this bout on Downey all those years ago on WOR/9. Sharpton was (and is) a clown who thoroughly disgraced himself during the Tawana Brawley hoax. Having grown up in NY where Sharpton's antics were widely acknowledged to be those of a race-baiting buffoon, I'm stunned to see him invited onto talk shows like Morning Joe as a legitimate leader. He's still fooling 'em. Where are men worthy to lead like Roy Innis, Ken Hamblin and Thomas Sowell when they're desperately needed??
