VEGAN Tab 7.0.0 RC1 on Viewsonic gTablet

@jimmymatthews1975 i read a few forums on this and people have said if you go to the setting and change the language settings to English (even if it already is) it should fix it.

great vids ehunyadi. vegantab is my first mod...my g-tab is getting hung-up on viewsonic logo screen after reboot. I let it go for 30+mins... any idea why?

hello, just wanted to say great videos I just installed this yesterday on my g tab and I have just one question. Everything seems to work well but my camera when I chose video and record it gets stuck. I'm I supposed to install something for it?

@Remedymp not bad at all... i get close to 8 hours with normal use and low brightness.

i followed your video and it said it had installed when reboot it stopped at the three birds, help

I did everything you did and restarted tab it booted up to the three birds and stop, never went to vegan screen, the image said it had installed.

Thanks, that went pretty well, although, I had to install it twice. On the first install, it sat at the "Powered by GTABDEVS" screen forever the first time I powered it off totally, then back on. On the second attempt, I made sure to clear cache etc. I'm not sure if that's what fixed the issue.

@jeffreyparke It's simple; copy the VEGAN 7 zip file to your SD card/storage on the gTablet, then boot into Clockworkmod, and then wipe data and cache. Then, install from zip file, select the VEGAN zip, and install. Reboot, and VOILA! It's literally that simple.

I have been loving ginger edition so far. I have been running it about a week now and had no problems. I came from bone stock so I did follow the repartition of the sd which on these tablets I have found is a good way to ensure a stable load and no quirkyness. Great vids.

@TheMrJLC Hello! i just flashed this rom into my gtablet from stock. i did wipe data/cache/dalvik, and it runs a little laggy when scrolling thru apps. does this ever happened to you? did you install any custom 1.4, 1.5 kernel?

@elsasso Not real sure how I am getting comments here on Edges video but to answer your question, I do not run a custom kernal other than the one packaged with VEGAN GE. I have had no lag issues and this has been the most stable build I have run on my G Tablet. Continues to be my daily driver and have not flashed since I loaded it. Now my Nook Color gets all the ROM flashing....
