Amazing scene, one of the best in the movie. So powerful but with using just tones of the voice, gestures, wit a lot of meaningful pauses.

highly recommend the movie. the scene where sandra has to cry as she dances is really magnetic. watching that scene you can see why she made it. she steals the show and its poetic. even though theres some useless nudity. If showgirls had a plot and imagination it would be this

But at the end of the night, or the morning, they all go home, to their "families" just like any other person. Most girls do it because it's the easy, fast way to make cash. However, there are a lot of women of substance who dance that either don't have a choice or just don't give a fuck.
