For the past year or more the BBC has made the call of people of Somalia second hand news by choosing to show our plight at midnight when no one is watching the news. Now they show their interests by trying portray our people as criminals when we all know how the years of watching our country being raped again and again has led our people to take action and take what is owed to them. Good on them I say and shame on the BBC for being so bias and short-sited on their so called "NEWS".
As they take our fish and dump their waste in our sea shores. The international community expects the Somali citizens to do nothing and die as they watch their lively hood being taken away. For as long as the international community watch our people dying while continuing to fund the warlords and neighbouring countries to bomb and steal from our mothers and kids. Our people will make the world listen to our plight.
INS Tabar sank the pirate "mother ship" after it failed to stop for investigation and opened fire instead. When it demanded the vessel stop for investigation, the pirate ship responded by threatening to "blow up the naval warship if it closed on her",
Pirates then fired on the Tabar, and the Indians say they retaliated and that there was an explosion on the pirate vessel, which sank.
I hope piracy problem would be solved once and for all. Not only in Somalia, but in all other parts of the world. Maybe, thanks to this act, world will understand that this is another face of global terrorism? And maybe it would be a good starting point to learn, how to effectively and permanently solve such problems.
