Really Devine. In Wyoming Medicaid pays nearly 8800/person to "insure" while a family of 4 can get a private plan that gives them better coverage for about 7500. Doing the math that same family would require ~35K under medicaid. So currently Medicaid is overpaying by $27K or better said, the taxpayers are overpaying for insurance in wyoming to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Anyone want to throw out the "rationing" buzzword? Currently, under the private system, anyone who doesn't have piles of dough for life threatening disease is rationed into death. No money, no treatment.

Thank you I have studied healthcare, and have experienced many different systems, this system results in quese low quality healthcare and then the governemnt will start telling you what you can eat drink or smoke and etc, it creates a massive voting block with loads of power, it's a nightmare scenario in 20 years you will look back and say why???? My dad had a stroke, I live abroad, so when I got to see him in the UK NHS hospital, this man who had paid into the system his whole life scarcely asking for a thing, was in a Goddam cupboard, I am not joking, they put him in a cupboard when I arrived he had sores on his toungue because they hadn't even given him any water and he was paralysed so couldn't get it himself, so don't talk to me about Nationalised Healthcare and it's benefits, they let him die in a cupboard.

@Iain1962 Reading the story, yes it did have those things. It's amazing what you can learn by reading. That's what medical personnel do, they adapt to the needs of patients with the resources they have.
People in the UK do receive top class care, the statistics say so. The term is MEDICAL OUTCOMES- is the result of their treatment good or bad (basically). Medical outcomes are much, much better in the UK than the US, mainly because PRIMARY CARE is so vital. Study H.C., it's eye opening.

Really Devine. In Wyoming Medicaid pays nearly 8800/person to "insure" while a family of 4 can get a private plan that gives them better coverage for about 7500. Doing the math that same family would require ~35K under medicaid. So currently Medicaid is overpaying by $27K or better said, the taxpayers are overpaying for insurance in wyoming to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Without healthcare people do not get regular physicals, meaning treatable conditions like diabetes go undiagnosed and get worse.

When people don't have healthcare, obesity turns into diabetes, mothers give birth in bathtubs. Easily treatable conditions turn into life threatening or crippling syndromes.
Private healthcare means no pay, no play. Pay up or wither away.

People from Canada are coming into the states to get healthcare because the waiting period is too long. Check the mortality rate for cancer in Canada. This administration is purposely ruining the United states. They have outspent the previous admin 2X they are now talking about raising the debt ceiling so they can spend more money. Govt run healthcare will further sink our economy.
