aw man, this is always one of the things I expect to go to whenever I travel to Vegas, totally sucks that its gone :( .... I remember a shirt they were selling and I wanted to get it, it said
it looks like a good day out for any star trek fan i am going to treat my disabled brother to go his favourite star trek is voyger he is mad about it but he likes all of the star treks :)
It should be pointed out that for the $45, you can ride each ride as much as you want all day. They stamp your hand, so no passing stubs between friends.
The transport effect is outstanding, so good that the rest of Klingon Encounter is a letdown (the movie is in sore need of an update).
As for Borg, it's the opposite, a slow start saved by a wild final five minutes. Trust me. Don't get too comfy in those chairs. Actually, do get comfy in them... Hahaha.
If your a fan of Star Trek you need to go to this. I got back yesterday, and Star Trek was my favorite. Everything is done so well. Make sure you go to Quarks and order a Warp Core Breach or a Borg Cube drink !! they are fantastic
Steep is an understatement! It was like $45 a person for the two parts of the ride. For half of that, you could spend all day at the Circus Circus amusement dome.. It was fun, but yeah, over priced. My favorite part was being "transported"... that effect was pretty effective in a most personal physical way.. You really felt like something had happened. Sort of disorientating. I managed to shoot some parts of the ride and posted it in my latest vacate vid on YouTube.
You're right. The "transported" portion of the ride was by far my favorite also. It was great in part to being surprised. when the lights were off and ...
Thank you for filming this video. My wife and I wanted to go there on our honeymoon, but it was the week after 9/11 when we went and a lot of rides/shows were closed for security.
No problem. I was actually very surprised they allowed me to video record the exhibits. No cam on the "rides". They also didn't allow any pictures inside a replica of the TNG bridge. I was impressed by how good everything looked. Even the displays had a video loop. Although it was a little cheesy because you could tell up close that it was a VHS tape in loop.

It'll be missed! Hopefully it'll pop up somewhere else in Vegas!
I must say though, it had one hell of a run @ the Hilton.

I still want to go through it one more time but i'm afraid i won't be in vegas anytime soon. being "transported" was very cool.

If you're a Star Trek fan, you definitely want to check out that exhibit at the Las Vegas Hilton. Tickets are a bit steep, though.
