I watched Jim Hall racing this car on DVD CANAM Fever; he was a great driver until he had a bad accident with this car hurting his legs badly!!!

CANAM was the best and i am German(where CanAM was not so famous)!!!

I just found the answer to my own question, no, its a continuation series car. A remake of sorts ... sure is beautiful.

Great video. This car was the first to have a high wing, mid-mount radiators, "automatic" transmission, and composite chassis/body. All this in 1965.
