@julieann1978 ..I had taht Vid in my old phone, lost it, came back here to get it and found U-tube erased it and explained some copyright infringement as the reason. Great Video.
i'm searchin from about 15 years a track made with the same sax phrase as this ( 1:10) but a little slow drums bpm and a sort of poetry improvisation on it, not sung...could you please help me please?
@yohppoy I think the song you're looking for is by a group called Masters C&J called "Living in these city streets" or something like that.Check it out here on youtube.I'm sure you'll find it.
@yohppoy I'm pretty sure it's a song by Master C&J with the word "City" in the title. You may find it here on youtube.I'm pretty sure it's the song you're looking for.You might not find the mix you're looking for though. There's so many mixes of that tune.
i forgot to say that this version i found on youtube (basil - city streets 1998) got the same sax as Mr Fingers's Closer....exactly the track i was searching from 15 years...
This remix sounds a lot like the mixes and productions by Steve 'Silk' Hurley in the early 90's. Listen to CeCe Peniston, Kim Sims and you know what I mean.
Dog's Bollox? Trouble or Mr Fingers? Either or both man. Sad sad story about your tapes, but oh so familiar. From years of DJing and making the damn things to give to people, I have one left of me, and one of Trouble from December 92. No more vinyl, no decks, nothing but lots of fantastic memories. I'm just so glad I was there to be a part of those times. All things must pass bro, ya gotta just let it go. Still, gotta say, some people simply have no class ...
never let it go bro hold as tight as you can forever, you tube has all the classics you can download them for free.goggle ,free you tude converter for your mp3s and get Virtual DJ software, and enjoy, shit compared to decks but still shit hot
@boccabr Paul 'Trouble' Anderson.... absolute legend. I often listened to his show (KISS) in the car on the way to work, heading for a long night-shift. Always set me up for the night but I always wanted more cos I had to leave the show before the end. ;-)
This is what house music is/was about!!! Hail Mr Fingers!!! Please post the other remixes 2. I like the one which is a bit faster, which they used 2 play in Roxy and IT in the early 90's. Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up!!!!
oh yeah man! Too right, Frankie Foncett's mixes were slammin'! Will never forget his remixes of Judy Cheek's 'So In Love' & Shara Nelson's 'Down That Road'. Both superb!!

it's ironic, how uplifting this song is, yet he samples Sweet Pussy Pauline... (the vocal that has the girl going, Awee!) hahah

ehi man!
i think you're right!!!
it's exactly the same spoken.
i think i found the real track
i checked this "Basil - City Streets 1998 "
the strange thing is that i listen this in 1993 or 1994, so this "98" thing results to me bizzare...
anyway many thanx!!

Wasn't he just the Dog's Bollocks?!!
I used to record his show non stop.
Had hundred's of cassettes with trouble on them.
All gone.
Stolen/borrowed never returned.
Had a great cassette which I compiled with all the best moments from Kiss mixes that Trouble did.
Some C**t borrowed it and lost it.
The C**t still can't understand why I refuse to acknowledge him until I get that effing tape back.
Still to this day..
And for tomorrow..
