My mom took me to my first con, Anime North back in 2006 .(I'm almost 26 now, so do the math) She wasn't an amine fan but she knew how much I loved it.....and she actually had a really good time.

But he was a good sport about it all. he learned that when i say " you don't want to no" he just leave it at that. since he learned what yaoi was. Never again shall he question his otaku sister. LOL! ^-^

I couldn't take my mother or father to the con. My dad might walk around for a little while with me, until he saw the kind of stuff that was there. Then, he'd wait in the car for days until it's over. My mom would just be like, "Really? THIS is what you wanna spend your money on? Really?" -_- I would never take them to a con. I've never been myself, but I'm super excited to go to AX 2011!

LOL! This is exactly how I felt when I spared my mother and took my little sisters to the convention in Miami last year, where we met you, Vic. I couldn't understand how they could spend so many hours walking around that place. I love anime too but when you're hung over the last thing you want to do is spend 8 hours trying to keep track of 3 teenagers in a place filled with costumed fangirls.

This is so totally my mom. I have pictures of her from NYAF 2009 lying on a cement bench at the Javits center surrounded by stuff my friends and I bought wearing Ichigo's hollow mask and holding the sword my brother bought ^.^

I have a bewildered con brother, he had some friends who where planing on going to NDK so he was like "hey my sister in that stuff why don't we all go". He had no idea what he got himself into. XD! But he was a good sport about it all. he learned that when i say " you don't want to no" he just leave it at that. since he learned what yaoi was. Never again shall he question his otaku sister. LOL! ^-^

My mother enjoyed the con I took her to. She only went to one though. It was my first con so she wanted to make sure I'd be alright... That was about 6 years ago XD

I couldn't take my mother or father to the con. My dad might walk around for a little while with me, until he saw the kind of stuff that was there. Then, he'd wait in the car for days until it's over. My mom would just be like, "Really? THIS is what you wanna spend your money on? Really?" -_- I would never take them to a con. I've never been myself, but I'm super excited to go to AX 2011!
