They distract Fr. Pacwa's point so much! It is NOT about WHO OR WHY we suffer but for WHAT PURPOSE, for the SALVATION of the rest of the body of the Church. That's what LOVE is and that's we UNITED to Christ, do as well, not by our own efforts. Our sufferings have value ONLY when united to those of CHRIST.
Yeah, it's not a good debate. There needs to be a mediator to control this debate to make it more effective to get the point across. But Fr. Mitch is pretty good, but hampered.
The protestant pastor kept interrupting him throughout this whole debate as I've watched it. It is annoying, and the moderator even joins in at times, and that is also annoying.
Plus, the priest here shows more patience than the other one, who seems, to me, to only want a fight and make people think he is high and mighty. I am so happy to be Catholic, go to church in reverence and not a social club then listen to people like this guy spewing crap.
