Petra has to be the best Christian band ever. All their songs are straight forward. You don't have to decipher what they are trying to say, and the messeges are so powerful. LOVE these guys! I call them the Fab Five :)

I believe you have to be 41 years old or better to truly understand how good Petra was. They were the understandable version of heavy Christian rock in the 1980's. The music and lyrics were inspiring to a generation that was just really breaking out from the standard version of Christian worship that most people perceived was always the norm. That is dull and boring. Petra had been around since the early 1970's, 1980's they went big. They proved worshiping God is an awesome experience. Why not!

Man Petra's music was great back then.

I wish they would have stayed together.Instead of Bob Hartman leaving in 94'

After that the bands music never recovered.They tried in 1995

When the Album No doubt came out.Wow that was a good album.Some songs on God fixation were good too.I wish they never changed so many Band Members.

They should kept John Lawry and Ronnie Cates they all worked well together.I miss their concerts.

Me fascina como golpea Rony Cates el bajo en este album, particularmente en esta rola, sin duda sabía que hacer con el instrumento. Todavía conservo el audiocasette que compré en 1990 ON FIRE. Sorry, Petra never did a music video for All Fired Up. They did videos for First Love, Defector, Minefield, and Counsel of the Holy though.
