It was set on the Jazz Deluxe setting. It had some minor delay, but that's about it. :)

Nicest bass tone i ever heard on a cover! and do you have an echo on that? Cuz the sustain is unreal. put your tenor all the way up and front pick up off if you have a jazz bass a precision just put tenor on. and harmonics just lightly touch dont hold down your finger close to the edge of the fret

This is a discrace to Victor Wooten, not even close although I'm not surprised being that he is one of the best. It is arogant of you to even put in the title Victor Wootens Amazing GRace because this is nothing like it. From around 1:15 to 1:145 you get so far away from what Victor was trying to accomplish. That shit was horrible. Don't entitle it Victor Wootens Amazing Grace rather call it your own because this doesn't resemblt Victor at all.

Your point is valid, maybe he should've put "(cover)" in the title instead of the description, but that's no reason at all to say it's 'horrible', when it's actually kinda badass.

Really good job. Might want to take it slower through the groovy section to let the harmonics really expand, and then slowly increase through the fast section instead of jumping right in.

Kulenkenkep I usually found out that it depends on the bass that you have to get clarity on the harmonics. The wood , the type of bass etc... you can mess around with the tone and EQ it the way you find it sounds best. What's your rig?

sounds great, you've got fantastic consistency with those harmonics. at about 0:55 you start using your right hand to keep the rhythm, which is where the groove really comes out in this tune, work on keeping it constant and you'll have this song completely nailed
