Very impressive speech by MaryLou M she really does care passionately about Ireland's people and the conditions that account for a lot of the problems facing Ireland today, in this economic recession. The govt has to have a fair policy that will give people a fair chance in their lives, which is what everybody deserves !
Voting for Mary-Lou didnt do much good did it?? She failed to get elected as did the other SF candidates in the 26. In fact, some of them barely managed to save their deposits!! this is evidence in itself
that the Sinn Fein vote is in slow but steady decline in the 26 counties. Most Irish people are going to vote either Fianna Fail or Fine Gael because they are the only parties likely to top the poll and therefore form a government in the Republic.
"the Sinn Fein vote is in slow but steady decline in the 26 counties" ??
what was the SF vote 10 years ago ??
& of course the 26 Cos. is only part of Ireland
SF is the only all Ireland party.
I'm a traditional FF supporter & i would suggest to you, that if you remove your blinkers ,you will see that the most significant feature of the recent 26 Co. elections was the RAPID decline of the FF vote
I'm aware we've had troubles between Ireland & Britain in the past but we're in the 21st centuary now, we're in the exact same boat with both our countries becoming infested with immigrants from the 3rd world, specifically Islamic immigrants, the party claiming to want Irish independence and unity ( Sinn Féin ) is doing anything but, they're pro-EU, pro-Immigration. Under Sinn Féin you will lose your nations Irish identity as immigrants do not wish to conform to Irish culture.
