@paulsawers WTF Dude he ain't born American.. he's Austrian and Austrians speak Deutsche (German language)... He was an immigrant way back then who happen to also get his US citizenship!
@paulsawers Please, as stated already, he's Austrian! If he were a native English speaker and American, then why would he have one of the most recognizable funny accents in the world? Wouldn't he be speaking in an American accent? A person who just happens to be of Austrian ancestry due to his background? Do some research or thinking before posting comments that make you look stupid.
@LordDavid04 - oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Everyone and their granny knows that Arnie is of Germanic origin. What I want is people in cyberspace to develope a sense of humour and be able to spot when someone isn't being serious. Way too many of your kind on the Web.
@slotuck Trust me, if you don't use your native language much, you will stumble -- I have the same problem in English over here in Europe. I read it no problem, write it no problem, but speaking -- ufff. I must be running Windows, because I blue screen of death sometimes ... lol!
@mbdulka Are you American living in Europe ? I guess if you speak a second ( or third etc..) language all day everyday, you might could forget your first ! ( Lucky you )
@slotuck Yes, American in Europe. My active language skills get cloudy sometimes if I try to speak very proper English and use words I don't normally use. I simply forget them. If somebody says them, of course I know immediately, but the active vocabulary does start to slip after a while, if you don't use the words. And when I do speak English, I dumb it down for non-native speakers, so when I actually speak to native English speakesr, I sound funny (more like a robot). Funny how it works.
its no offense, but i personally cant really stand that "austrian german", which sounds like a altered version of Bavarian or like some older 19th century german, its hard to describe, maybe someone will understand what i mean.
