notice the pattern he's playing exhibits a sort of "gallop" timing... ba-bump, ba-bump, ba-bump... the soloing would sound a lot more creative and interesting if the notes didn't always fall exactly in the same gallop pattern. just some advice.

idk what ass thumbed you down, but i'll explain it for you.

You play things in different keys.. like the key of c is "c,d,e,f,g,a,b,c"

where as the key of g is "G, A, B, C, D, E, F♯, G"

it's all about the tone of the music. the key of a is "A, B, C♯, D, E, F♯, G♯, A"
