@BeniXBass Based on the information here in Addendum, some would assume that in order to pay off the national debt, we have to rob the banks of their money and then hand it out to them as payment for debt. However, a secret law or indication in a bill would have to take place to give the government any legal right to rob banks. Also, the national debt is increasing tens of thousands of dollars every second. There would have to be a lot of people sharing the debt in order to pay it off.

Alright I watched all the zeitgeist films and the money masters films. I proceded to show these films to my father who works for the government as well as my girlfriend who is an actuary. I found it remarkable how easily they accepted this information as obvious and seemed oblivious as to the ramifications. I have to admit I am feeling a bit jaded right now. This has to change yet I feel so powerless to the system right now how can we correct this massive corruption? I want to know.

There is a book "How Privatized Banking Really Works" by Bob Murphy which suggest the "Sound Money Solution" as the solution to the problem. Essentially you use whole life insurance for your banking needs which then reduces banks ability to multiply the money through the fractional reserve system.

The one thing these videos seem to miss is that money buys resources. The people dictate what they want and how much they're willing to pay for it. If I want a house I get money from a bank to pay for it. The bank owns the house, not me, until I pay off the note. Even if the money was made from nothing, the house was not. The house must be paid for. Nothing is free and if it all were free we'd have chaos or totalitarian control. Neither is appealing to me.

I know what you mean cause it is very real around us affecting you, the people you love and the communities we live in. I think the financial crisis of the U.S. magnified just how seriously enslaved we are to money and every other form of control. I tell you it's hard for me to wake up every day knowing that this is very real yet people feel hopeless about it and just try to live their lives happy. Sad on so many levels :(

I was just thinking, well why doesn't the country just ignore the debt and take control of the foreign assets? Not as easy as it sounds then huh.
I wonder if a country would go to war over this, or if the international community simply place a trade embargo instead.
Maybe one day in the future all of this will have changed.

If u.s. refuses to pay your debt then no one'll trade with you. If u.s. goes to war against the world you'll lose.
The issue is the stranglehold that banks hold over societies perpetuating a regime that is prejudicial to the proletariat etc. It has little to do with the political institution which is in thrall to the financial.

You have nothing of value to exchange for education. What do you expect? You pay less tax but have to pay for your education in the u.s. unlike Europe(except England). It's why socialism's better. I have gotten together with like minded individuals and we have been talking about the after math of capitalism and what we can do to create something meaningful and something everyone can agree on. I have been stashing money away but i don't think that would be of any use.

Alright I watched all the zeitgeist films and the money masters films. I proceded to show these films to my father who works for the government as well as my girlfriend who is an actuary. I found it remarkable how easily they accepted this information as obvious and seemed oblivious as to the ramifications. I have to admit I am feeling a bit jaded right now. This has to change yet I feel so powerless to the system right now how can we correct this massive corruption? I want to know.

@Tadatruth9 I would suggest by spreading to the word to others. Post it on your Facebook Status. Show it to other friends. Bottom line is to talk about it. There is a book "How Privatized Banking Really Works" by Bob Murphy which suggest the "Sound Money Solution" as the solution to the problem. Essentially you use whole life insurance for your banking needs which then reduces banks ability to multiply the money through the fractional reserve system.

The one thing these videos seem to miss is that money buys resources. The people dictate what they want and how much they're willing to pay for it. If I want a house I get money from a bank to pay for it. The bank owns the house, not me, until I pay off the note. Even if the money was made from nothing, the house was not. The house must be paid for. Nothing is free and if it all were free we'd have chaos or totalitarian control. Neither is appealing to me.

I think this has it backwards though: the bank first must pay for the house. When the man takes out a mortgage, the bank puts up the house to him, and he puts up future money. Unfair as it is, when the bank decides that future money does not exist, it can remove its end of the bargain, the house.
I can get online with the idea of interest-based slavery, but this movie is not accurately describing basic economic theory.

if the information is correct it is disgusting. i understand the design, but the problem i see, is that only a small majority of people do understand. i meen realistically, if i say to people that capitalism is an ecenomic form of slavery, they will think im a tad crazy. one person can not solve this problem, nor a handful of people in relation to the population. in my eyes if this is true, education is the only way forward, however like a classroom, there is always a few unwilling to learn
