Seriously, it took me 6 months until I finally got the last Sonic game for the Genesis, Sonic And Knuckles in box with manuals, for only $10! Plus, the Genesis controller is the best controller out of all home consoles.

@Lionferrari777 Lol I meant Sonic & Knuckles for $10 was an amazing steal! They go for $30 without the box or manuals! :D My Genesis cost me $40, and each Sonic game was more or less around $9.00. Sonic 2 was $4.99, and Sonic 1 was $11, for example.

Also, I have a Genesis plug-in-and-play unit with 6 games all on one Blue SEGA genesis controller, and that was one of my first games! Before I got my first actual game system (GBA SP) too. I could never get past Spring Yard in Sonic1

@Lionferrari777 The zone after Marble zone would be Spring Yard Zone (the red zone). I couldn't get past it back then, either. But, after practicing a LOT on Sonic Classic Collection for DS, I am now capable of getting through the entire game without getting a Game Over (and without using a Continue.) The most Chaos Emeralds I have ever gotten would be 4. That's why I don't play it much; I either play till the end when I have time or don't play at all. Lol.

@Lionferrari777 Btw I finished ALL Sonic games for Genesis (Sonic 1, 2, 3 and S&K, not the spin-off titles.) Sonic 3 is the easiest one out of them all, making it the most boring when played by itself, but Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my favourite game cuz of Hyper Sonic and the S&K stages.

Lol it was hard enough getting into the Special Stages, but once you were in, the controls were so hard! Btw I have Sonic Generations on my laptop (got it for free but only cuz I don't have a PS3 or 360) in a few days, and I barely played. It was so easy. But who am I to talk? It lagged in most places, making it easy

@Lionferrari777 Yeah, I hate many rpgs except for a few, including Sonic Chronicles and especially Pokemon (I like the Pokemon games I played at childhood the best cuz back then they reminded me of summer. Now they remind me of those good ol' days.)

I LOVE platforming, though, and like racing games, but the racing games on Wii are kinda awkward. I have Trackmania Turbo on my DSTWO for my DSi, and it's just awesome. So is Sideswiped (crash-racing game.)

@Lionferrari777 My FAVOURITE Pokemon game of all time is Gold for the GBC. I hate Black and White as well, but I have so many idiot friends on Wii and 3DS that think it's the bomb. XD I feel sorry for them. I'm playing Pokemon LeafGreen on my DSi (using my DSTWO) cuz I loved FireRed (found that in a red GBA SP years ago) and never got to play it through 100% cuz I didn't want to restart the game. I wanted to keep the existing save file. FireRed gives me some bs error on the ---->

@TheSonicFan4 error on the DSTWO saying "The sub M circuit board is not installed" and whenever I try to save, it says it cannot save. LeafGreen has no problems, however, and it's really weird... It's the exact same thing... I also like Platinum cuz it reminds me of the days I was playing Diamond without being exactly the same. Same with Crystal. It's better than Gold, but I like Gold WAAAYYY better. :D

And Trackmania Turbo is epic on DS. I love the Island races.

This game obviously had more time put into it than Sonic 3. You can hear the difference in the soundtrack, you can see it in the textures. It wasn't really a bad decision to split them though because this way I can enjoy playing the awesomeness that is Sonic 2 & Knuckles!

@kR0B45 Not so... If I were nostalgia driven I would highly regard Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 as well, as they are retro. I did like them, I enjoyed many an hour with them, but it really isn't hard to see that the quality of those games are no match to their, timeless, 16 bit counterparts. Adventure 1/2 had flaws, in respect to the camera mech, and overall control, as did many of the games to follow, not only that but they added far too many unnecessary characters, and gimmickry to boot. Case closed.

Yes I am implying this game didn't have the mentioned flaws, of course it doesn't, for what it is there aren't really many flaws, and im killing the nostalgia shit right now - I still play this game to this day as well as the other Megadrive Sonics and it has nothing to do with nostalgia, theyre better, ask any Sonic fan who grew up in the 90s the transition to 3D has been flawed since its first debut, I am not saying theyre awful, I am telling you, they are not as good, even to this day.

@kR0B45 The camera in SM64 isn't perfect but it does the job, but the controls are still way ahead of their time. You can slide, jump, wall-kick, break-dance, backflip, double-jump, triple-jump, fly, swim all in one combo (if you're good enough). And its so intuitive, a child could do it. And its the same gameplay they used for all the 3D Mario games since. So I guess you just sucked at it and simply assumed it was because the controls sucked, and not the other way around... Search "Super Mario 64 speedrun/walktrough" on youtube, what you'll find really show the greatness and fluidity the controls have...
