  • I actually learned (a lot of) PHP in 1 hour :O

  • This is good for website development because if you need to declare large chunks of information you can use functions and not only does it save you time, but you can update the function and everything else is changed with it.

  • great vid but whats/whos hoss?

  • @lunchbox10 wtf is wrong with you?

  • @swiftorrion well its weekend dude...come on!!

  • You forgot the curly braces. The function will execute without them, but if you want to code it correctly, use two curly braces in the code to tell the browser when the function starts and ends. Like this:

    function name() { //your function }

  • i love lunchboxx10!!!

  • Oh my god, yes! Teacher aimer to sod off.

  • this is so educational!!!

  • I have a question. Let's imagine you had some code that draw a basic webpage template. Would you use a function for storing all that HTML code or would you recommend using a customised function?

  • hahah.. lunchboxx10 appears and disturb your tutorial.. but well, thanks again!

  • Great tutorial. Lmao @ lunchboxx10!

  • these are great. lunchboxx10 is a dewb LOL

  • guys can someone reply me?

Javascript and all is browser based scripting...

    PHP is server side scripting...

But it seems as tho theyre the same....

    Whats the difference???

  • you can use what you like. some people are evangilistic over js, but I prefer php and python for server side scripting. its clean and i can get alot of code written pretty fast.

  • Because PHP is parsed on the server, JavaScript is parsed on the browser.

  • A great series of PHP tutorials, watched 1-15 this afternoon and can congratulate you on explaining things well. Kept laughing because of your evil attitude. Keep going and ignore the trolls.

  • God! Freaking Luckbox10. NO! I don't have any ideas for your site. Good video, good job.

  • thanks and 5 stars

  • thanks..
