@tempxanga I agree with you. Spence was almost my favourite in this show with that nerdy and genuine sympathic mentality combined with his chronic underdog situation. But his backstabbing of Doug crushed it all to pieces for my part. Just as it did with Deacon when he sold out Spence at that Grün-movie. Danny is the only that keeps it real throughout the entire nine seasons.
Hmm... I know this is just a show, but I think it's funny that "Doug" was only willing to change to a better paying job after they decided to have kids. Whether a person has kids or not, I'd think they'd want to make more money anyway to help with bills/better quality of life etc. That's just my opinion. :O) I'm glad my fiance isn't like that.

yeah, it was spence on the phone. spence knew that carrie lied about giving the keys back and about giving up the apartment, which is why doug catches carrie walking into her apartment [caught her in a lie]...yeah.
(spoiler incase you haven't seen it) Spencer was the guy on the phone, he warned Doug Carrie had kept the apartment, the room Carrie went into was the apartment.

Towards the end of this episode, at Doug's new job, one of the workers is disabled, and even gets a line. This is the second time I noticed a disabled person on this show (the other episode is at Doug's high school reunion), any particular reason for this? it just seems unseemingly.

Spence has always liked Carrie in "that way". He's a desp. lil' man. The only thing that seems out of character about this episode is Doug and Carrie deciding to adopt a Chinese baby instead of an American one.

The last couple episodes of this show didn't follow the character's personalities... Spence wouldn't do something like that, and Carrie was acting more bitch-y than normal... I didn't know that was possible until episode 910. This is one of the greatest sitcoms ever with one of the biggest let downs for the last couple episodes.
