This is wonderful. "Lament" along with "Visions In Blue", are what I think 2 of the most beautiful pieces from Ultravox. This is a very STUNNING cover. It flows so nicely and the drum machine and pretty synth atmosphere is golden. I really LOVE the xylophone sound going through this as well *** it's simply gorgeous. This is actually making me quite emotional listening to such beauty and realness. Amazing video as well, very calming and relaxed ***** 5 STARS!
One of my favourite Ure-era U-Vox tracks, had to sing along to this (sorry cats). Very topical too with all the rumours of Ultravox reforming. See you've beefed up the percussion a little too, but the piano effects are very true to the original. Another good one :)
