Thank you! I just did a jailbreak . I was using Spirit, my iTouch is a mc model and running with 3.1.3. My iTouch crashed and I couldn't restore it. I had to use a second computer, running a newer ver, of iTunes. So now I'm on 4.1.

I didn't backup my shsh files. I didn't know how to do it. But it worked with no problems.

Ok, i started limera1n (i have an iphone 3gs 4.2.1) and it tells me to hold the buttons and what not, so i do, then it gets stuck on the "release power button" i did, and continued holding the home button, but ofc, i held it for over 5 min for nothing. so i stopped and turned my phone back on and it got stuck ont he itunes screen with the cable going towards the itunes logo. ive reset it numerous times (by holding buttons) and it still stays on the itunes screen. WTH?
