The healthcare system is "effectively like" a monopoly because 1) you can't get price information to choose (like Gingrich says) and 2) doctors and hospitals can raise the fees without any FREE-MARKEY OR government controls (#1).

Obamas health care plan will cost you an additional $291.00 per month, whether you use it or not. If you make $100k per year...It'll cost you $583 per month.

x4dogcat, umm, you know you can buy your own policy that is good for pretty cheap. And obviously you don't know how employer HC coverage works. You pay for it out of your check. It isn't free! I use to work for United HealthCare which is an insurance coverage company and we still had to pay for our coverage. A piece comes out of our check.

Yes, one can buy coverage from many different types of places for pretty low premiums. No I'm not young and this has nothing to do with taking care of....
