Nice that so many women fall for Larry after so many years. I have never seen him in a role earlier than Wuthering Heights which was the turnig point in his career. This was the film that made him take creative control of Henry V and show the film industry how to adapt Shakespeare onto screen!
I like your vid clip and I've rated it as awesome. I've done another video clip on some old cigarette cards of 1930's movie stars, including: Laurence Olivier, Bing Crosby, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, Clark Gable, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Greta Garbo,Johnny Weismuller, Gary Cooper and Carole Lombard.
Elisabeth Bergner is very beautiful, I love her. KTJ

You should absolutely watch Fire Over England (1937), then. The film is lovely, and Larry is a lovely puppy. :-)

Is it on YouTube? I am eager to see how Olivier evolved from an more athletically driven Fairbanks actor, to the greatest actor of all time.

This 1936 adaptation of "As You Like It" is one of the most graceful and delightful films I have ever seen.

The wrestling scene just goes to show the Larry had a physical presence to match his acting talents.

I agree. And Jeremy Brett was another of the greats in my opinion.

I totally agree with you - Jeremy Brett was absolutely brilliant, along with Robert Stephens.
