Last summer I chartered a 26-foot cruiser which can beat this: 1 foot draft (hinged keel) and proper A-frame for raising and lowering the mast (just one pin needs to be inserted or removed) - in Poland!. There are thousands of boats up to 30 feet or so in Poland which can do this. A superb 28-footer was shown at the Toronto Boat Show last week which does all this and more: TES 28 Magnam. Bridges and shallows as shown here are standard waterways in Poland.
Search here on "Mazury zagle" and you'll find hundreds of videos showing such boats being sailed. Google on Ahoj Charter , choose the English option and you will see MANY examples in detail. The stern pulpit post supports the mast when down. Even a 28-footer can be single-handed in mild conditions. These boats have become readily available in both the US and Canada. Polish boats are very well built and the exchange rate is now better.
