Devo wrote it to be performed as they did it in a sarcastic poppish vein. I loved it back in the day blasting on my 8 track car stereo. There was a brilliant black humour tint to everything they did.

I also love RATM. Its interesting how Zack de la Rocha listened to DEVO and saw the brilliance of it enough to cover it. His is braver. It takes guts to sing those first lines in an unsarcastic manner, actually enticing the audience to be swept up and then brought down to earth at the end.

Rage did get back together there for a little while. They played last years lollapalooza in cali. Along with a slew of other shows in the summer of last year. However Morello was quoted as saying they are not planing on putting out any new music, but they are going to do more shows. Here is to hoping they come back to Philly!
