Sierra 117 deserves to go down as one of the best Halo missions of all time, the atmosphere was nailed the moment the brute horn bellowed, the phantom flew overhead and the music kicked in. The jungle felt entirely organic and the pacing all the way through was perfect.

@SonicSpeedy862 Cause F>alcons can't fly in space and they aren't really reliable as troop transport. A pelican looks better, can take more units, has better weapons and can fly in space and in atmosphere. On top of that a Pelican looks really awesome and a Falcon doesn't.

@Fondorcry Your right on somethings. the pelican can take more units and fly in space, but Falcons are faster and more maneuverable then pelicans, can have enough fire-power to rival a pelican in combat. They more economical in terms of resources to field them and are still rather flexible to multiple role. As far as not looking quiet as good, that is a opinion and my friend your entitled to your opinion, but my opinion is that your wrong.

@InsidiakMFWA Ya, a Falcon is more maneuverable, whats come in handy at close combat, but its not as fast as a Pelican. The Falcon has only three 20mm guns and a Pelican has in standard version one 7.62x51mm canon, one 40 - 70mm canon and two ANVIL-II ASM roket launcher. In a Falcon theres space for 2 pilots and 5 passenger. In Pelican theres space for 2 pilots, 1 Crew Chief and 10 passenger. In halo Reach i missed the Pelican as hell. om nom nom

the falcon takes awhile to accelerate and once it gets going its pretty fast. While a pelican I've seen accelerate fast but have a consistent speed. If the did go faster, than why did foe-hammer get shot down by banshees when she just could have out run them in halo-1?
