335i sedan or coupe.the both have the same hp(which is all i really care about in the 3 series).i was wondering if theres anything special about the coupe over the sedan or vice versa?.he sedan cost less(which doesnt make since to me since the have to make 2 doors)so i figured there must be something im not seeing about the coupe
@CRAZYXBLACKXMAN well perforrmance wise the coupe and the seden have the same torque and horsepower, the coupe weights a lil bit more and probably can turn corners better, but is easy to chose between the two cars since the coupe 3 series is 1 of the most beatiful coupe looking cars out there ^^
@CRAZYXBLACKXMAN the reason why the coupe is more expensive is because there is no pillar that holds up the frame in the coupe like the sedan has in between the doors. thus the frame is made of a more expensive stronger metal to accommodate for no pillar. it is also in my opinion much cooler if u get a coupe rather than a sedan which isn't as exciting to talk about
woaaaaahhhh woahhhh woahh now...anarexic model, man im 16 5'10 235lbs my parents have this car and i ride in the back like its my day job im far from small...and i have bad knees and i can go about a hour in it b4 i get pain in my knees
I think this guy hit the nail to the head... There is just something sexy about this car, it's simplicity yet slick curves give off this mature feel, elegant. Will sell car for this and cancel a few yearly euro trip to afford this marvel.
Guy's you should try the 335d then. I've got an 07 335d m sport and just had it re mapped. It'll beat a new M3 from 40 to 120mph and return 35 to 45 mpg with 350bhp and more impressively 720nm of torque it's good for 170mph.
Do you have any real calling in life? I mean really what are you good at beside mashing a fuckin pedal and hoping not to die. Your a non productive mama's boy who refuses to grow up. 10 yrs from now what will you be doing? Still putting stitches in your anus from being stretched out by a man that cant love you like your daddy did.
335i coupe or 328i coupe cant decide?help!! Does the 328i have enough power to overtake cars easily on the freeway and did anyone do a dyno on the 328i because i know the 335i is very under rated and was wondering how many horses the 328i is putting toward the wheels. Couldnt find it on the internet please help.
On my quest to buy a new car, I had the Audi A5 in my sights. But when I test drove the A5 and then the BMW 335i xdrive coupe, I was more impressed with the BMW. In fact the A5 isn't a fair comparison, if anything the S5 would be more of an equivalent, but given the car's superior responsiveness and price points it's a better car in my opinion. It's more of a true driver's car, with an intrinsic intuitive feel, tautness, firmness and feel that the Audi simply lacks...
And what do you think about the porsche cayman s? I'am also looking for the 335i, S5 or the cayman s. I live in the Netherlands so the porsche is much more expensive over here (same as the S5)
my last tank got me 16.4 mpg, admittedly i was caning it, city driving i can just about get 19-20mpg, motorway driving up to about 24mpg, power is well underrated though, i got an auto with paddle shifts, 0-62mph in 5 seconds flat, marginally slower than the new e92 M3
all i know is i love my car! if you guys haven't driven one.. id test drive it for sure haha i had it up to 150 ish on the highway and i felt in control of this beast all the way up there.
He's absolutely right. This is a very sexy sports car (especially in white) that is quite capable of giving you whiplash if punch it from first gear. It's an absolute blast to drive and makes my old Lexus seem like a mini-van.
Lexus is a weird marque. They have no particular soul or design guide.
Mercedes is about safety and technology with a relaxed ride with conservative styling.
BMW is a driver oriented machine with the handling to boot. Looks are controversial but always is able to show its heritage in its design (Some Mercs do it too)
Audi is a techno freak with futuristic with the best interiors in my opinion. It's utilitarian and almost clinical to drive.
Getting back to Lexus, they seem confused and unguided. All of the three aforementioned German brands are associated to luxury, but all of them have a sense of racing spirit and heritage in their models.
Lexus is known for their reliability which is odd when you compare that to the notorious reliability problems of the Germans. Design is conservative and most of their lineup offers no real excitement until you enter the new -F range which is hard on the eyes, wallets, and falls short.
In my conclusion, there is no real reason to buy a Lexus unless you want to reliability of a Toyota -- which it is, with extra creature comforts.
It's boring to drive, boring to look at it, and sadly their performance models don't live up to what I think Toyota could do in terms of performance (Supra anyone?) compared to their similarly priced German competitors.
Not bad for a brand that's been around for about only 23 years.
@alvaro1728 How would you compare this to an M3? M3 is almost twice as expensive, worth it? I can't decide which to buy. I'm also heavily leaning towards the new 2011 Mustang 5.0
@normalais I'm not sure about the M3 being worth the extra $15K. If you read the forums (bimmerfest, e90post), you'll probably find people saying that they love their new M3 even more than their old 335. Of course, for that much more money, they better, right? :-) I personally prefer the look and prestige of the M3, but I haven't driven it so I don't know if the ride is worth the extra $. I actually just added the JB+ mod to my 335 and I can't imagine going much faster. It's a monster!
@alvaro1728 Right, I guess it is mostly about the prestige of the M3...I am seriously torn between the 335, 2011 Mustang 5.0, and possibly Subaru WRS Sti.
@normalais BMW, Mustang and STi are 3 different cars and better in their own categories. You cant compare apples and oranges. BMW is luxury, STI is performance and Mustang is a muscle car. I would suggest think what you would like to drive for the next 5-6 years. DO u want luxury get BMW, if u want muscle car feel and pump get mustang but if u want a performance car which can make sharp turns and excellent handling get sti. Though I have to agree that nowdays diff between cars are fading away
@normalais Also I would recommend exolution and not sti. sti was good in the past in older models but the current model is just BS. Only the name remains but performance wise evo is much better. BMW is not just prestige, please go and take a test drive, it is not just luxury but also runs very fast. Like i said at teh end of day it boils down to what you want to feel for the next few years while u own the car. I am a working man so I would prefer a luxury car so I will go with BMW.
damn you know they say douche bags drive bmw's... i didnt wanna believe it because i think they make excellent vehicles... But it looks like the host just reinforced the saying.. hahaha... cant stand the shades...
uh it mostly depends on how much power you want, if you think 230 is plenty the go for the new 328 but if you like the little extra power than go for the used 335..that really the only major difference between the two
i just bought one in sparkling graphite a coupe not really fond of the color. I will say this the performance is a little over the top and is much more powerful than the 328i , it feels like a porsche and is a real sports car
I bought one, it's amazing. I'm not sure how keen I am on first year production cars. I've already had the fuel pump replaced and other minor issues.
