It's from a game series called Touhou Project. However, you need to know - despite the cutesy characters, the games are brutally difficult.

It's worth knowing that Touhou Project is not an anime to see, but a large series of games. They're mostly scrolling-shooter bullet-hell games. Also of major note is that a single person is the sole creator of the series, from art to programming. Wikipedia has more info.

However with the massive amount of fan content for the series, there are plenty of short animations and some anime of it out there to watch.
