9macrina9, You took the step of making this video, did you buy a copy of the Red Book? I ask because, as I have read and reread it, I walk away with some questions that only a woman could answer, that is, how a woman's reading of the Red Book will inevitably differ from a man's. I have specific Q's but I hold off on those till I hear back.
My first question deals with the events of the Mysterium. Encounter and Instruction, rather gendered events... Would a conversation with an Animus figure and the Earth Mother sound similar to this, or is there some other difference of rapport, setting or structure? The Red Book cannot be taken as a blue print for anybody else's experiences but Jung also populates our psyche with these characters in a general sense. What might a woman expect when confronting the unconscious?
@SnakeSpiral A person may expect the evidence and manifestations of the stages of consciousness that all human beings carry within for the purpose of integration and wholeness. The archetypes activate in response to the specific needs of each person. Had Jung been a woman, the personages evoked in service to the soul may have appeared differently. A person can expect what they need in that regard.
From the outside the most recent observation on psychology and analysis is that it is for the rich. Those who have money and can "afford" the treatments. Seeing this fabrication in many of Jung's students who have a "higher mystic justification to study Jung," in their studies they miss in large part the basics of psychology treatment---that every-day man should understand...
Carl Jung has been writing many interesting things.I like his ways of describing the person as consisting of many layers, the persona(the mask),anima ,animus, the shadow part, the hero and the self. I think the ideas about the self is most fascinating.I really like what i have read with this person.
If you want to listen to some good and deep electronic music you can check my channel and have a listen if you feel like it,it`s quality music, carefully selected.
Isn't the use of a negative funny, when people bash an agrument without even proposing an alternative or solution. I believe in jung becuase he was really into alchemy and tao te ching.
@Darrell861 Their is a difference between being a critic and just insulting the other person and talking down on them. hate tactics is not a good argument, thats all I was getting at.
@monkeyjoe9 I do not hate Jung. I am entertained. He is that laughable. Anyone nowadays who wants to become a psychiatrist could read Jung and think hey, if Jung claimed to be able to interpret dreams, then so can I. Jung set a wrongful precedent for his own profession, and his followers promoted that wrongful precedent. No one can interpret dreams, and no one ever has had that ability. Jung had no grasp of ethics.
@07Aristotle Jung talks about the "unabridged German version" in which each entry begins with, "Once upon a time..." Yet he does not cite where that version is. It is not cited by Mary Ann Mattoon, nor in "Children's Dreams" (Princeton Press, 1988). There is no mention made of a diary in the 1939 version, and there, the girl was ten when she kept the diary. Jung changes his story by saying the diarist was eight. There is no documentation for the existence of the diary.
@07Aristotle The girl had never been exposed to the Bible, yet she had a dream which corresponded to a passage form the Bible. If this diary exists, it would be to Jung's theory of the collective unconscious as the Diary of Ann Frank is to survivors of the Holocaust. The father has traveled from abroad to ask Jung a simple question: What do you make of this? Jung should have said let's get this published immediately. But he doesn't. That's because the diary never existed. Jung made it up.
@Darrell861 Pg61 ''when and where there is such a motif originated nobody knows. We do not even know how to go about investigating the problem. The one apparent certainty is that every generation seems to have know it as a tradition handed down from some preceding time.'' jung was just as perplexed as you were, but as the quote implies is that the collective images in dreams are similar from generation to generation. children in general have a high susceptibility to having such symbolic dreams.
@07Aristotle Let me correct something. In the 1939 version there is no mention made of a diary. There is only one dream, the first on the Man And His Symbols list. In the 1939 version, the girl was ten when she recorded that single dream. Later, Jung changes his story and says she was eight because he wants to bring in the Once Upon A Time lie.
@Darrell861 On Pg.59 it states, "one day he brought me a hand written booklet he had received as a christmas present from his 10 yr old daughter. It had contained a series of dreams she had had when she was eight". This certainly does not sound like a change of story like you stated, its pretty easy to see. the "Once Upon A Time " quote was from the little girls diary. she used it to make her dream sound like a story so her father can appreciate it more.
@07Aristotle The burden of proof is not on me to prove the diary doesn't exist. The burden is on Jung. It would be simple for him to do that. Most people do not keep dream diaries. A much tinier percentage is 8-year-old girls. And this girl's father just happens to be a friend and fellow psychiatrist of Jung, even though they live abroad. She keeps the diary secret and then gives it away as a present. This story stretches the bounds of believability. It begs for documentation.
@Darrell861 You made the claim that the diary does not exist, prove it. of course the burden of proof is on you. you said the the diary does not exist, therefore you must know of its nonexistence. there is no way you can publish and document a diary that a little girl wrote on. in all, it makes no sense to make a dispute the truth about a diary when the details of it serve its only crucial purpose. The girls father worked with jung it was the girl that lived abroad.
@07Aristotle It is impossible to prove the nonexistence of something. Pardon me, but I'm laughing now. It is, however, very easy to prove the existence of something. It would take Jung only a few sentences to document where this diary is. If it exists, it would be a very important support for Jung's questionable theory of the Collective Unconscious. It would be like the diary of Ann Frank, which is documented. Oh, and, if the girl lived abroad, then so did her father. Duh. Hello.
@Darrell861 You fool! you can prove the nonexistence of something. for example, if i wanted to prove that the boogie man doesn't exist i would take you to the closet when it is dark, turn on the lights and reveal (prove) to you the boogie man's nonexistence (that its not there). you cant say the diary doesn't exist when you dont even know what your statement curtails. once again that statement begs the question. by the way the father was a colleague of jung they worked in a different country..
@07Aristotle In this context the bogeyman is not a something. We're talking about a physical object, i.e. a diary. No one in thhe world can prove its non-existence. But Jung can easily prove its existence with documentation. If he did,it would be a feather in his cap. After all, the collective unconscious is a controversial concept, to say the least. It is not a given that it exists. What kind of father would leave his daughter behind and move to a foreign country? The entire story is fishy.
@Darrell861 the girl does indeed have family and relatives that can take care of her. her father was not the only caretaker. here is some philosophy: how can you prove the existence of something if you cant prove its nonexistence? likewise, how can you prove the existence of something if you cant prove its nonexistence?
@07Aristotle When Jung first saw that diary he should have told the father that it should be published at least in a medical journal ASAP. And he wouldn't need the daughter's permission. After all, it was a gift, and was now the property of the father. Once again, the father travels from abroad with the specific purpose of asking for Jung's feedback. Jung gives him none. I do not buy Jung's collective unconscious at all. A simpler explanation for its phenomena is hypermnesic experiences.
@Darrell861 together, while the daughter was in some other place. you obviously dont know about the collective unconscious if your comparing it to hypermnesic experience. Hypermnesic experience is not a good alternative explanation because it implies that every person would have a different experience and thus not making it collective experiences. It also implies that memory is infallible, which is not the cause in psychology. Memory is fallible if you consider confabulations, false memory,....
@Darrell861 memory decay etc. if you formulate the collective unconscious around memory then you dont know what even the unconscious in general is to start off with. jungs collective unconscious is not centered on memory as you should know.
@07Aristotle I am not formulating the collective unconscious around memory. I don't even buy the collective unconscious. The girl could have easily chanced upon a bible, skimmed certain passages, forgotten about them, and then through hypermnesic experiences had dreams about them weeks later. The samecould be said about Kekule's discovery of the structure of the benzene molecule. All he has to do is glace at the image of the coiled snake at the age of 8, forget it, then have it pop up
@Darrell861 long term memory can only be activated if the information is constantly experienced in repeated fashion. a "hypermnesic experience" would have to leave room for the unconscious because it is just to much of a coincidence.
@07Aristotle Like I said, I experienced a hypermnesic experience in 1995 while wide awake. Of course it came from my personal unconscious. Likewise, the dreams of the 8-year-old girl could easily have come from her personal unconscious. Kekule's vision of the coiled snake could have easily come from his personal unconscious. The collective unconscious is a different matter. It is a controversial concept. Let's not confuse personal unconscious with the so-called collective unconscious.
@07Aristotle years later spontaneously in a visual image. This is a much simpler explanation than positing the collecive unconscious. I abruptly became critical of Jung in 1995 as a direct result of a hypermnesic experience. I was wide awake. The memory had to do with Memories, Dreams, Reflections, p.134-36. I have an essay on the subject. My e-mail is d.revok at cox dot net. You are more than welcome to read it.
@Darrell861 I have a BS in psychology from usc. there is not enough evidence to support hypermnesic experiences being an actual reality. most experiences are in your memory because of trauma or highly emotional periods. there are many discoveries in psychology against a hypermnesic experience such as confabulations, false memory, memory decay, memory bias. something by chance can never be longer in your short term memory for only a few seconds, then it evaporates because of other incoming info.
@07Aristotle Jung first mentioned this story in 1939 as part of a series of symposiums published in 2008 under the title "Children's Dreams." (Princeton Press) In 1939 only one dream is mentioned. There is no mention made of a diary. In the 1939 version the girl was ten. There is no mention made of "once upon a time."In Jung's later version there is a diary, there is "once upon a time," and now the girl is eight when she wrote down her dreams. These two versions are inconsistent.
@Darrell861 this is the dilemma of the diary arguement. the diary is only a very small part of the book why and how can jung provide documentation for it? the anne frank diary was made into a book because it pertained to one of the worst disasters in history, it allowed readers to view in perspective what went on in the holocaust. In this case documentation would be necessary, not in one page of a book...
@07Aristotle Jung is handed the diary. All he has to do is say, "Let's get this published." Documentation is simple. No dilemma. I realize the Frank diary had to do with the murder of millions. I was making an analogy. Holocaust survivors want to read the Frank diary. Jungians would want to read the girl's diary. But it isn't there. This story is begging, dripping for documentation. The whole story is fishy, and is not documented. It thus stands as a lie.
@monkeyjoe9 I do not hate Jung. I find him entertaining. He is that laughable. Anyone nowadays who wants to become a psychiatrist might read Jung and think, hey, if Jung can interpret dreams, then so can I. Jung sets a wrongful precedent for the practice of psychiatry, That precedent is promoted by his followers, who are even more laughable than Jung himself. No one has the ability to interpret other people's dreams. It's the oldest hoax in the world.
@Snackay Jung did not help the subject on p.134-36 of Meories,Dreams, Refletions. Quite the contrary, He broke the Hippocatic Oath. He also broke the Hipporatic Oath on p.59-60 of Man And his Symbols. One of Jung's followers Marie-Louise von Franz has said that it is not a good idea to interpret one' own dreams. If that is not pompus elitist snobbery, I don't know what is.
@Darrell861@Darrell861 nowhere from pgs 59-60 in MAN AND HIS SYMBOLS. does jung state, or that you can infer, that he knew of the 10yr old girls oncoming fate. jung never broke a hippocratic oath. "she lived abroad and died of an infectious disease about a year after that christmas" pg60. she dies of an event unrelated to her dreams, therefore jung would have not seen this and thus not been able to warn her. all on pgs59-60 MAN AND HIS SYMBOLS.
@07Aristotle When I first read her dreams, indeed, I had the uncanny feeling that they suggested impending disaster."p.63 Jung does not communicate this feeling with the father. He thus breaks the Hippocratic Oath. Jung says he had no chance to tell to the girl about the dreams. But he had almost a year. The father travels from a foreign country with the simple purpose of asking Jung what he thought about the diary. Yet Jung tells him nothing.
@Darrell861 Also pg61 quotes, ''christian themes may of course be represented by such ideas as God, angel, heaven, hell, and evil. But the way in which they are treated by this child point to a totally non christian orginj''. Then on pg63 ''they undoubtedly contain 'collective images' and are in a way analogous to the doctrines taught to young people in primitive tribes when they are about to be initiated as men''. jung offers an explanation to a seemingly arduous elaborative connection between
@Darrell861 In Man and his symbols pg. 59-60 there is no citation of the 10 yr olds diary. How could you assume the diary doesn't exist if it is not cited? where did you hear of its non existence? The diary contained 12 separate dreams each describing a different meaning. Dream #10 describes a luminous ball that she touches it, a man appears and kills her. That is the only dream out of those twelve that could have symbolized death.

what the hell is the point of this video? doesnt this chick have anything better to do than to post these pointless videos about jung. your not adding anything. your just trying to intellectually jerk off with technology.
@Darrell861 The shadow is a term invented by Jung. It is a scare tactic he used to intimidate and control his followers, It has no practical application. Some people are evil, yes. But not all people are born evil. If one wants to operate on that belief system, fine. I choose not to. Redrum and I are diametrically opposed when it comes to Jung. Tossing the term shadow into the issue is an obfuscation.
@Darrell861 Jungians always carry the shadow card up their sleeve. They pull it out at will, thinking it insulates them from criticism. A Jungian could be driving down the street and ding someone's fender. The driver of the car gets out and says, hey you dinged my (bleeping) fender. The Jungian pulls out the shadow card and says, "You are projecting your shadow on me. So what about your fender. You have a shadow problem."

@Darrell861 On Pg.59 it states, "one day he brought me a hand written booklet he had received as a christmas present from his 10 yr old daughter. It had contained a series of dreams she had had when she was eight". This certainly does not sound like a change of story like you stated, its pretty easy to see. the quote is really not that confusing.....
@Redrum267 Okay, I will. But you have been out-debated. Carl Jung did not have the ability to interpret dreams. For that matter, no one does. Oh, and, check out Aimless Duo.com. Go to MP3 Listen, Also, MP3 Listen Too. My best friend Jeff and I made up a bunch of songs. Jeff has some brilliant lyrics, and I play acoustic guitar. I reccomend track 6: Man Love Rhonda. --D
@Darrell861 Again, i will repeat. You CANNOT outdebate ANYONE with DEAD END material that just crashes and crashes into walls. None of your stuff is published anywhere, THEREFORE invalid. END OF ARGUMENT. And no, i am not concerned about you playing guitar or any instrument for that matter. I do NOT accept any soliciting.
@Redrum267 NOW STOP WRITING BACK! I WILL JUST DELETE YOUR COMMENTS WITHOUT READING THEM. YOU AND ALL OF YOUR MATERIAL ARE DEAD ENDS. EMPTY WORDS FROM EMPTY PEOPLE.
Carl Jung is an amazing man and most likely is one of the closest to having a clear understanding into what it takes to become actualized. Sadly most people fear the unknown and will not venture into finding how to unlock full potentials within themselves. However, there is always hope for mankind if people just want to KNOW. P.S. Do not allow our energy to respond to anyone's hate or misunderstandings to Dr. Jung. He would want us all to love even our worst enemies.
@capkarr Give me one quote where Jung says that we should love our enemies. Sounds to me that you are equating Jung with Jesus. It's okay with me if Jung wants to create a religion around himself and have followers. If Jim Jones wants to lure people to Guyana and murder them, fine. If Dr. Phil wants to fool Larry King into believing that he, Dr. Phil, is a religious sage, fine. It is quite another thing when a licensed psychiatrist has no regard for ethics, as did Jung.
@Redrum267 This is the 3rd time you have referred to me as angry. For the 3rd time, I am not. I cannot be angry toward someone I have not met. Rather, I find Jung entertaining and laughable. As for tyranny, that term does not apply. Let me try this again: It's one thing if one wants to be a guru, and it's fine if one wants to be a follower of a guru. It's quite another thing when one is a licensed psychiatrist, psychologist or psychotherapist. Jung had no grasp of ethics.
@Redrum267 That makes 9 comments removed. As for the aggressive approach, I have written 7 essays on Jung. Given the anonymous format of this website I cannot share them with you. Agrgessive? You haven't seen anything yet. In particular, my criticicism of p.134-36 of Memories, Dreams, Reflections. 12 pages long, with bibliography and 3 pages of relevant quotes. You are being out-debated. Oh, and, you still have not addressed the ethical issue of a psychiatrist interpreting dreams.
@Darrell861 You seem to be good in math! LOL! anyways, what did all of your oh soooo long criticism get you? A PH D!? LMAO! Listen, your good with the typing, its cute...but its not getting you anything. Outdebated me? LOL!!! I dont speak to shrinks left and right, so i cannot give any info on the dream part. OBVIOUSLY. Oh ive seen my friend, trust me ive seen. Its all words here Darrell, names and dates, dont forget. Essays and critiques, by the end of the day: You cum on essays, i laugh.
@Redrum267 For the 4th time, I do not have anger toward Jung. For the 4th time I find him entertaining and laughable. Names, dates and doing the math is called documentation. I am not blindly flailing at Jung. I am citing specific quotes. For the 5th time, you have not responded to the ethical violation of a psychiatrist (i.e. Jung) using dream interpretation in private practice. On p.42 of Man and His Symbols Jung sais that he could not interpret dreams. Yet for decades he said he could.
@Darrell861 So...you must have a degree by now if you have been studying him since 1978. Or your a fucking proffesor of all things NOT Jung. LMAO! As i said earlier and you did not read, speak to a clinical psychologist about all of your Jungian doubts. I dare you. God forbid your proven wrong! LMAO!
@Redrum267 One does not need credentials in order to be a critic. I am not asking about your academic background. I am not asking if you have ever been published. The same applies to me. I am not the topic here. Jung is. Profanities and text messaging do not constitute valid criticism. So far you have not cited a single quote from Jung. You have not documented anything in support of Jung. Oh, and, by the way, yes. I did indeed graduate from the 2nd grade.
@Darrell861 LMAO! What? You think these psychiatrists and psychologists you and i know have not studied Jung? You think they dont know how to apply his ideas into practical terms? OF COURSE! I asked a psychologist, for example: "so instead of saying to someone, 'you seem to be projecting an image/archetype onto me' what can i say?" And he responded: "Well, you can say : you are expecting way too much from me, i can only do SO much".
There are indeed ways to translate complexities Darrell.
@Redrum267 When you use the phrase "everyone in here" you are referring to the majority of people who tune into this site. I do not buy into any of Jung's concepts: shadow, archetypes, anima, animus and the collective unconscious. I also find the term projection to be manipulative and open to abuse. Oh, and, my tyranny certainly hasn't repeled you. Our dialogue has lasted for over a week. All you have to do is delete my comments. Simple.
@Darrell861 LOL, i know what i can do and cannot do. No need to remind me. I am very confident in my opinions and ideas, i just simply enjoy when someone is rather confused about certain things, and relish on helping them out of it. Jungs' ideas are complicated and rather hard to consider...for they are very abstract. I do strongly suggest not becoming a Clinical psychologist. They know alot of Jung and even astrology...which i am not even going to ask your opinion on.
@Darrell861 LMAO! @ outdebated! Why? Cause you have written so many essays? Is that how you outdebate? LOL! Damn...so let me get all the shit ive ever written and outdebate somebody! Anyone can write. ANYONE. Anyone can write an argumentative essay on blah blah blah. LOL! Dude, stop jerking off in the mirror.
@Redrum267 You have twice asked me how many books I have written. I have never written a book, nor had anything published. First Jung says that dream interpretation is a science, then says it is not. He dies. Then Von Franz says dream interpretation is a science. Clarissa Estes comes along and says dream interpretation is an art, not a science. There is no right or wrong to art. Thus, there is no right or wrong to dream interpretation. Jungians can make dreams mean what they want them to mean.
@Redrum267 You say Jung's ideas are complicated, rather hard to consider, and abstract. I have been studying Jung since 1978. I find his ideas transparent. They are inventions of his imagination. Now if I have it wrong and my problem is that I do not have the intellectual breadth and scope to comprehend the wisdom of Jung's writings, please enlighten me. I'm listening. After all, I did graduate from the 2nd grade. Take your time. Tell me what I'm missing. In 10,000 words or less. Go.
@Darrell861 Your clearly wasting time reading about the person you apparently doubt (Why would someone read about someone they dont appreciate? Interesting logic if you ask me...lol!). So is all your shit in print and in books yet? LMAO! So i can say: "Hmmm...maybe hes right..." LMAO!
@Redrum267 James Hall was a Jungian psychiatrist. He said he made it his policy that his clients cannot repeat anything he says to them outside the counseling room. He also ordered his clients to keep a dream journal and give it to him. He then chose which dreams would be discussed in analyisis. He ordered his clients not to consult other therapists. His clients could not terminate the counseling without his approval. --The Jungian Experience, Inner City Books, 1986.
@Redrum267 Hall also said that when he thought it was time to terminate the relationship, " The analyst's dominant feeling is more like the joyful pride of seeing one's child grow and leave home." The Jungian analyst is dominant; the client is a child. This is not a private matter of he said she said. These are ethical violations recorded in a published book. Once again, Jungian psychology in its pracitical application is all about holier than thou elitism. Jung has you hook, line and sinker.
@Redrum267 That now makes 12 comments removed, and more text messaging. I just mentioned the ethical violations published by James Hall. You did not comment. Once again, I have out-debated you. Jung has you wrapped around his little finger. I don't know anything about you other than the fact that you have posted an entry that professes an unconditional commitment to Jung. By including the reference to Cupid, well, that's creepy.
@Darrell861 PS. There is no need to know anything about me. Except my age and the fact that i can sit here and make you look rather stupid on this page. LMAO, again...@ "outdebated you"
@Redrum267 You have not responded to anything I have said. I have repeatedly cited passages from Jung's writings in which he shows a disregard for ethics. You have not defended Jung. Take a look at what Jung says on p.134-36 of Memories, Dreams, Reflections. Any psychiatrist who trys to pull off a stunt like that nowadays would be repremanded so fast it would make his head spin. One does not need to be published nor even have a degree in order to make a point.
@Redrum267 I do not need friends on my page. Once again, one does not need credentials or even support in order to be a critic. James Hall makes it clear from the outset that he is a devout Jungian and proceeds to write a book which is contains numerous ethical violations. You have not responded. I have graduated from the 2nd grade. I can read and speak English. That's all I need. You are being out-debated for the simple reason that you have said nothing in Jung's defense.
@Darrell861 Moreover, YOU! It got you typing and discrediting...OVER AND OVER. Without anyone else agreeing. LOL! for almost thirty or so years, and how far did you get? NOWHERE! Just cheap arguments with strangers online!
AGAIN! where are the books you have published. End of story. when you get a book published about how "right" you are, i will shut up. Until then, LMAO!!!!!
@Redrum267 Thanks for the compliment. You keep saying I need to get published. You have been outdebated, and are impressed by my arguments. No one has the ability to interpret the dreams of others. Jung made that claim for decades and got away with it. I do not care if you ever get published. You, on the other hand, care if I get published. Once again, thanks for the compliment. Oh, and, one more thing. WTF does LMAO mean? --Sincerely, D
@Darrell861 I am actually more impressed by your inflated ego. All of this "confidence" you try to display means nothing to me. Your an old fuck, trying to get recognized online, admit it. While Jung is twisting and turning in his grave laughing his ass off! You have nothing confirmed, NOTHING. So keep typing. I will be waiting.
@Redrum267 Jung has said that all people are born with a dark side. He calls it the shadow. My brother Steve is the most kind-hearted person I have ever known. Second is my best friend Jeff. Neither have a dark side. I am a jerk and an asshole, but I do not believe that I have a dark side. Nor do I think you, Redrum, have a dark side. I do think you are gullible and have been sucked in by a guru. LMAO does not constitutute a defense of Jung. --D
@Redrum267 It's one thing to talk of archetypes as literary motifs which can be copied. It's quite another to talk of archetypes in the Jungian sense: that all humans (going back to prehistoric times) are born with them. That there is a biological basis for them. Jung spent his career tacking back and forth between biology and psychology. This was how he dodged criticism and he got a lot of it. For example when in 1932 he callled Picasso a schizophrenic. Jung never even met Picasso.
@Redrum267 I know what it's like to be sucked in by a guru. Jung had me fooled for several years. Some people follow Dr. Phil. Some people follow Jim Jones to Guyana and let themselves get murdered. Some people followed Koresh. Some followed Guerdsciff. You are still following Jung. It's okay, buddy. You'll get over it. Some day you will wake up and see Jung for the fraud that he was. Then you will move forward on your own. You won't need a leader. Give it time. All my best, --D
@Darrell861 I actually discussed all of the crap you have mentioned and said with a psychiatrist friend of mine, and we both just laughed our asses off! I even mentioned the supposed essays you wrote, Where they are? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS! LOL! Were they ever written? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS! For all i know, you have lied about your so called essays written in so-and-so date about Jung, trying to prove your little doubts and critiques! LOL! Try another one, buddy!
@Redrum267 LMAO means laughing my ass off. WTF means what the...anyway. Text messaging weakens a dialogue. If you want to prove that you have a friend who is a licensed psychiatrist, give me his e-mail address. While you're at it, give me your e-mail address and I will send an essay via attachment. My e-mail address is drevok@cox. net. AMB,YAFOS. GAC.LAP,--Darrell Revok
@Darrell861 No. Senility and old age has weakened your thinking. As you tended to repeat yourself regarding archetypes a few dialogues ago, when we long discussed the issue. THAT'S YOUR CURRENT PROBLEM, if you havent noticed...
if i want to prove? LOL! I do not have a need to lie about a friend being a psychiatrist and or have "Essays" written on Jungian doubts...Again, keep trying to gain your fame here on youtube. So...your 53 right? LMAO!
@Redrum267 I have given you my e-mail address. Contact me any time you want. Also, tell your psychiatrist friend that he can give his e-mail address any time he wants. I will send you my essays via attachment to both of you. C'mon, man.You can do it. You can give me your e-mail address. I know you can do it. Just between you and me (don't worry, nobody is listening). I don''t think you have a friend who is a psychiatrist. You are lying. I, on the other hand have essays about Jung. --Darrell
@Darrell861 PS. If your so called essays are so "on point" you should have no problem posting them here. Other than that, they are all null and void, collecting dust in the recesses of your drawers/cabinets.
@Redrum267 I have posted 15 of my essays on the Rodger Kamenetz site. Go to Blog, click on drevok or Brillig. Look for my essay "The Normal Doctor." It has no holes in it.
@Darrell861 Thats sexy, it really is...ANYONE in the world can and is allowed to post critiques...but did it get you a PH. D? Did it all get you some sort of honor or some type of recognition...I never heard of Darrel Revok.
Ps. Also, by using the world "guru", you are already using a Jungian term...another contradiction of yours. You are NOT at all complicated.
@Redrum267 There is no contradiction in Jung and I using the same term. Anthony Storr has also called Jung a guru in his book Feet of Clay. I posted a 12 page essay complete with a bibliography and 3 pages of endnotes. You have not responded to the content of that essay. Jung says a happily married doctor with a successful private practice is on the verge of death from psychosis. Yet he does not inform the doctor of his diagnosis. Would you like to comment on the content of the essay?
@Darrell861 No. I would like to go to the library and look for a Darrell Revok book. To convince myself of how "wrong" Jung was. Until then, i will LMAO!
@Redrum267 It's one thing if your next door neighbor Marge says, "Hey, I nterpret my husband''s dreams all the time. Wanna get together for coffee on Tuesday? I'll interpret your dreams." Fine. If you want to be so gullible as to believe Marge, then let her interpret your dreams. But it's another thing when a licensed professional bound by an ethical code makes the same claim, then the client can file a complaint. Jung got away with that scam for decades. Once again, thanks for the compliment.
@Darrell861 You apparently have no idea how the uncoscious works. Again, it is too much of an abstract subject. With ideas and images difficult to grasp. Good example with the Marge thing...BUT it's not that simple. And yes i am casting aside all of those dream books, because dreams are extremely personal and/or sometimes collective and even predictive. In case you havent read that somewhere. You have much to still learn, despite all the shit you have socalled written.
@Redrum267 Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. Except for me. I was born without one. I"ve been holding it in all my life. Can you imagine the pain I'm going through?
@Darrell861 For the 25th time...LMAO @ "outdebated you". I will not entertain you in terms of outdebating, your senility is exhausting to everyone. Including your age. Perhaps you need some cock in your life, not pussy, COCK. Because i am a male and you are dying for my email address. Pervert.
@Darrell861 NO. I said ok because you began comparing opinions to assholes. And this is coming from such a person who so called wrote so many intellectual essays-now im even more in doubt of your essays to be quite honest. Its a shame that you socalled wrote intellectual essays and can use such silly words and dialogue. Very banal and mundane of you to use such comparison...sad.
@Darrell861 Again, in which libraries are you essays published, IF they are SO true? And no, its not a compliment...its a dare to publish your silly doubts. Go ahead, publish away...prove me wrong. Until then, your delusions do not scare anyone. "I was born without one?" Such narcissism at such an age...its ok, its in the age. Perhaps you have no one in your personal life to give you such attention, and here i am, satisfying your thirst for it. Interesting...
@Redrum267 No one taught Jung how to interpret dreams. Yet he claimed to have that ability for decades. Tell me who taught Jung how to interpret dreams. I await your response. If you cannot respond, then it's checkmate. I have out-debated you. Nice try, Redrum. --D
@Darrell861 You are just angry no one notices, and has NOT noticed any of your ideas. THAT's where your inferiority kicks in with Jung. Narcissistic people tend to feel that way about others superior to them. Its ok...i understand you. LMAO!!!
@Redrum267 Yep, I have out-debated you. Checkmate. Jung was a fraud who claimed to have the ability to interpret dreams. That is an ethical violation. It's also an ethical violation to have open sexual relations with a client, as Jung did with Sabina Sperlein. Jung also invented the meaningless terms introvert and extravert. Those terms have no practical application. Also, Jung contradicts himself when it comes to the matter of nature vs. nurture vis a vis the two terms.
@Darrell861 LMAO so you mean to tell me that just because he contradicts himself, according to you because you seem to be obsessed with discrediting him, in a topic he is TOTALLY wrong? Yes, indeed you are a fucking idiot. You need some cock. Again, i will say, "you have outdebated me" when you actually have a book published since you are so right. So what library are your books published? Lol, are they next to Jungs' stuff? Probably not since you don't have anything published.
@Darrell861 Just because he slept with a patient, it makes him a Fraud? So since freud used cocaine to ease his mind, makes his ideas less true? You got a fucked up logic dear Darrell. Again, the only thing you will be checkmating are the balls someone places in your mouth, because your losing conversational power. A clown indeed who likes chess! I laugh at your "essays" collecting dust, as i read Jung! LOL!
@Redrum267 You have already admitted that I have out-debated you. Jung had no comprehension of ethics. That is why he not only had a sexual relationship with Sabina Sperlein, but also claimed to have the ability to interpret the dreams of his clients. He set a distorted precedent for the practice of psychotherapy. Oh, and by the way. What is a cock?
@Darrell861 I admitted that you have outdebated me? Perhaps your senility is making you hallucinate and is making you think so? I dont recall admitting that, i SAID! and READ clearly: When you publish your socalled essays, i will admit defeat. Otherwise, my arguments keep you company, i sense no one gives you any attention. Perhaps if i leave you alone, you will deflate. And age at the same time!!!
You dont want to be alone in this argument, do you? YOU NEED ME.
@Redrum267 I have posted some of my essays on the Rodger Kamenetz website. In particular, I would like to draw your attention to my essay, "The Normal Doctor." You have said nothing in Jung's defense. In particular, you have not addressed the issue of how Jung learned to interpret dreams. Rather than defending Jung, you have chosen to attack me. It's called the ad hominem fallacy. Since you have said nothing to defend Jung, then I have out-debated you. C'mon. Defend Jung. Just try.
@Darrell861 So you like to copy and paste too? Whats the matter? Running out of words? LOL! I am CHOOSING to not defend Jung because there is no need to, his stuff is printed everywhere, in MANY libraries, it would be silly of me to defend him because it would be putting him in doubt. Again, YOU NEED MY ARGUMENTS. IF I STOP WRITING, YOU WILL GET LONELY.
@Redrum267 I would like to hear you defend Jung. He claimed to have the ability to interpret dreams. In the context of a licensed profession, that is unethical. Some of my essays are posted on the Rodger Kamenetz website. In particular, I would like to draw your attention to my essay "The Normal Doctor." I welcome your criticism of that essay. Thanks, --D
@Darrell861 LMAO! So because he was "unethical", his stuff shall be removed from all the libraries in the world? LOL! Your angry because no one listens to your bullshit but me. I KEEP YOU COMPANY. YOU NEED ME.
@Darrell861 Ad hominem Fallacy indeed...because every doubt of yours has been extremely biased. Jung is far removed from this...this is about YOU. You are the one with the doubts, YOU are the one copying and pasting, "I would like to draw your attention to my essay, The normal doctor". You said those exact words a while back. Say something original, and "opinions are like assholes" dont count. Ive heard that plenty of times. Your arguments=weak.
@Redrum267 "The argumentum ad hominem is not always fallacious, for in some instances questions of personal conduct, character, motives, etc., are legitimate and relevant to the issue."
And in this case, your personal conduct has been extremely biased and narcissistic. LOL! See how i can flip your own shit on you? sad sad sad!
@Darrell861 Indeed i am focusing on YOU. Again, because every attack of yours against Jung is biased. Angry, along with your publicly unheard essays that remain hidden in drawers and some off the wall cite you keep proclaiming. You are not flawless, and your flaws are being shown in your arguments. again, i just told WHY i am CHOOSING to not defend Jung. It is useless of me to defend him, because again, as opposed to you, his stuff is printed EVERYWHERE.
@Redrum267 My essay on Jung titled "The Normal Doctor" is posted at the Rodger Kamenetz website. Feel free to read it. Anyone in the world can read it. Once again, Jung's conduct was unethical. If you support him, then defend him.
@Darrell861 You are clearly not reading anything i post. Just replying. I clearly told you why i am CHOOSING to not defend him. YOU HAVE said nothing in regards to that. You are avoiding my statements. Freud was unethical as well, and people still teach his work, Jung-according to you-was unethical, and people are teaching his work. DO YOU SEE now? YOUR arguments and doubts are DEAD ENDS!!!!!!
@Redrum267 Here is one of my attacks on Jung: He claimed to have the ability to interpret dreams. In the context of a licensed profession, that behavior is unethical. If you cannot defend that behavior, then I have out-debated you. In my essay "The Normal Doctor" I draw attention to four ethical violations on Jung's part. If you have time, read the essay, and give me your comments. Thanks, --D
@Darrell861 Checkmate? No one is playing a game here but you. LOL @ checkmate. Fucking idiot. But your dying for me to read some shit you socalled wrote...hahahaha! The more you speak is the more i laugh. You really are a clown! Now thats a compliment! Your a good clown!
@Redrum267 I will admit that you have outdebated me, and satisfy your dying thirst to outdebate someone online (poor soul you are indeed), LOL, when your supposed essays are in print and in books...i will hush forever. Until then, your words are all dribble and useless. Along with your arguments. RECORD THAT. So i notice you like my attention...is anyone fucking you by the way? I doubt it. Stop hitting on me.
@Redrum267 I have already posted essays on the Rodger Kamenetz site. In particular, I'd like to draw your attention to my essay "The Normal Doctor." Give it a read, and share your comments. Or, you can e-mail me. You have my address. I can send you a number of essays I have written about Jung. Once again, thanks for the compliment. You think I ought to be published. You made my day. --D
@Darrell861 Again...and you are frustrating me with your inability to record anything i say...that fucking age of yours. One, you are not getting my email address or my psychiatrist friend. RECORD THAT. Two, i meant interpretation as in taking an offensive remark and trying to relish from it by turning it into something positive. NOT GONNA WORK. NEXT, what library can i go to that your work is published? (And that's sarcasm since your so fucking smart! LMAO!)
@Redrum267 I have already posted essays on the Rodger Kamenetz site. In particular, I'd like to draw your attention to my essay "The Normal Doctor." Give it a read, and share your comments.
SnakeSpiral 3 weeks ago
@SnakeSpiral ...I do have a copy and i did read it.
9macrina9 3 weeks ago
@9macrina9
SnakeSpiral 2 weeks ago
@SnakeSpiral A person may expect the evidence and manifestations of the stages of consciousness that all human beings carry within for the purpose of integration and wholeness. The archetypes activate in response to the specific needs of each person. Had Jung been a woman, the personages evoked in service to the soul may have appeared differently. A person can expect what they need in that regard.

Jung doesnt deserve such a stupid video with a horrible musik.

Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 what is your response? cant hear you..
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle Jung talks about the "unabridged German version" in which each entry begins with, "Once upon a time..." Yet he does not cite where that version is. It is not cited by Mary Ann Mattoon, nor in "Children's Dreams" (Princeton Press, 1988). There is no mention made of a diary in the 1939 version, and there, the girl was ten when she kept the diary. Jung changes his story by saying the diarist was eight. There is no documentation for the existence of the diary.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@07Aristotle The girl had never been exposed to the Bible, yet she had a dream which corresponded to a passage form the Bible. If this diary exists, it would be to Jung's theory of the collective unconscious as the Diary of Ann Frank is to survivors of the Holocaust. The father has traveled from abroad to ask Jung a simple question: What do you make of this? Jung should have said let's get this published immediately. But he doesn't. That's because the diary never existed. Jung made it up.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Pg61 ''when and where there is such a motif originated nobody knows. We do not even know how to go about investigating the problem. The one apparent certainty is that every generation seems to have know it as a tradition handed down from some preceding time.'' jung was just as perplexed as you were, but as the quote implies is that the collective images in dreams are similar from generation to generation. children in general have a high susceptibility to having such symbolic dreams.
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle Let me correct something. In the 1939 version there is no mention made of a diary. There is only one dream, the first on the Man And His Symbols list. In the 1939 version, the girl was ten when she recorded that single dream. Later, Jung changes his story and says she was eight because he wants to bring in the Once Upon A Time lie.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 On Pg.59 it states, "one day he brought me a hand written booklet he had received as a christmas present from his 10 yr old daughter. It had contained a series of dreams she had had when she was eight". This certainly does not sound like a change of story like you stated, its pretty easy to see. the "Once Upon A Time " quote was from the little girls diary. she used it to make her dream sound like a story so her father can appreciate it more.
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle The burden of proof is not on me to prove the diary doesn't exist. The burden is on Jung. It would be simple for him to do that. Most people do not keep dream diaries. A much tinier percentage is 8-year-old girls. And this girl's father just happens to be a friend and fellow psychiatrist of Jung, even though they live abroad. She keeps the diary secret and then gives it away as a present. This story stretches the bounds of believability. It begs for documentation.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 You made the claim that the diary does not exist, prove it. of course the burden of proof is on you. you said the the diary does not exist, therefore you must know of its nonexistence. there is no way you can publish and document a diary that a little girl wrote on. in all, it makes no sense to make a dispute the truth about a diary when the details of it serve its only crucial purpose. The girls father worked with jung it was the girl that lived abroad.
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle It is impossible to prove the nonexistence of something. Pardon me, but I'm laughing now. It is, however, very easy to prove the existence of something. It would take Jung only a few sentences to document where this diary is. If it exists, it would be a very important support for Jung's questionable theory of the Collective Unconscious. It would be like the diary of Ann Frank, which is documented. Oh, and, if the girl lived abroad, then so did her father. Duh. Hello.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 You fool! you can prove the nonexistence of something. for example, if i wanted to prove that the boogie man doesn't exist i would take you to the closet when it is dark, turn on the lights and reveal (prove) to you the boogie man's nonexistence (that its not there). you cant say the diary doesn't exist when you dont even know what your statement curtails. once again that statement begs the question. by the way the father was a colleague of jung they worked in a different country..
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle In this context the bogeyman is not a something. We're talking about a physical object, i.e. a diary. No one in thhe world can prove its non-existence. But Jung can easily prove its existence with documentation. If he did,it would be a feather in his cap. After all, the collective unconscious is a controversial concept, to say the least. It is not a given that it exists. What kind of father would leave his daughter behind and move to a foreign country? The entire story is fishy.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 the girl does indeed have family and relatives that can take care of her. her father was not the only caretaker. here is some philosophy: how can you prove the existence of something if you cant prove its nonexistence? likewise, how can you prove the existence of something if you cant prove its nonexistence?
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@Darrell861 the girl and the parable from the bible.
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle When Jung first saw that diary he should have told the father that it should be published at least in a medical journal ASAP. And he wouldn't need the daughter's permission. After all, it was a gift, and was now the property of the father. Once again, the father travels from abroad with the specific purpose of asking for Jung's feedback. Jung gives him none. I do not buy Jung's collective unconscious at all. A simpler explanation for its phenomena is hypermnesic experiences.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 together, while the daughter was in some other place. you obviously dont know about the collective unconscious if your comparing it to hypermnesic experience. Hypermnesic experience is not a good alternative explanation because it implies that every person would have a different experience and thus not making it collective experiences. It also implies that memory is infallible, which is not the cause in psychology. Memory is fallible if you consider confabulations, false memory,....
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@Darrell861 memory decay etc. if you formulate the collective unconscious around memory then you dont know what even the unconscious in general is to start off with. jungs collective unconscious is not centered on memory as you should know.
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle I am not formulating the collective unconscious around memory. I don't even buy the collective unconscious. The girl could have easily chanced upon a bible, skimmed certain passages, forgotten about them, and then through hypermnesic experiences had dreams about them weeks later. The samecould be said about Kekule's discovery of the structure of the benzene molecule. All he has to do is glace at the image of the coiled snake at the age of 8, forget it, then have it pop up
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 long term memory can only be activated if the information is constantly experienced in repeated fashion. a "hypermnesic experience" would have to leave room for the unconscious because it is just to much of a coincidence.
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle Like I said, I experienced a hypermnesic experience in 1995 while wide awake. Of course it came from my personal unconscious. Likewise, the dreams of the 8-year-old girl could easily have come from her personal unconscious. Kekule's vision of the coiled snake could have easily come from his personal unconscious. The collective unconscious is a different matter. It is a controversial concept. Let's not confuse personal unconscious with the so-called collective unconscious.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@07Aristotle years later spontaneously in a visual image. This is a much simpler explanation than positing the collecive unconscious. I abruptly became critical of Jung in 1995 as a direct result of a hypermnesic experience. I was wide awake. The memory had to do with Memories, Dreams, Reflections, p.134-36. I have an essay on the subject. My e-mail is d.revok at cox dot net. You are more than welcome to read it.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 I have a BS in psychology from usc. there is not enough evidence to support hypermnesic experiences being an actual reality. most experiences are in your memory because of trauma or highly emotional periods. there are many discoveries in psychology against a hypermnesic experience such as confabulations, false memory, memory decay, memory bias. something by chance can never be longer in your short term memory for only a few seconds, then it evaporates because of other incoming info.
07Aristotle 1 year ago
@07Aristotle Jung first mentioned this story in 1939 as part of a series of symposiums published in 2008 under the title "Children's Dreams." (Princeton Press) In 1939 only one dream is mentioned. There is no mention made of a diary. In the 1939 version the girl was ten. There is no mention made of "once upon a time."In Jung's later version there is a diary, there is "once upon a time," and now the girl is eight when she wrote down her dreams. These two versions are inconsistent.
Darrell861 1 year ago

@Darrell861 @Darrell861 nowhere from pgs 59-60 in MAN AND HIS SYMBOLS. does jung state, or that you can infer, that he knew of the 10yr old girls oncoming fate. jung never broke a hippocratic oath. "she lived abroad and died of an infectious disease about a year after that christmas" pg60. she dies of an event unrelated to her dreams, therefore jung would have not seen this and thus not been able to warn her. all on pgs59-60 MAN AND HIS SYMBOLS.
07Aristotle 1 year ago

That is the only dream out of those twelve that could have symbolized death.

Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Jungians always carry the shadow card up their sleeve. They pull it out at will, thinking it insulates them from criticism. A Jungian could be driving down the street and ding someone's fender. The driver of the car gets out and says, hey you dinged my (bleeping) fender. The Jungian pulls out the shadow card and says, "You are projecting your shadow on me. So what about your fender. You have a shadow problem."

@Redrum267 now stop harrasing me.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 Okay, I will. But you have been out-debated. Carl Jung did not have the ability to interpret dreams. For that matter, no one does. Oh, and, check out Aimless Duo.com. Go to MP3 Listen, Also, MP3 Listen Too. My best friend Jeff and I made up a bunch of songs. Jeff has some brilliant lyrics, and I play acoustic guitar. I reccomend track 6: Man Love Rhonda. --D
Darrell861 1 year ago

Jung. He would want us all to love even our worst enemies.
capkarr 1 year ago

Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Tyranny...as in your aggressive approach in getting your ideas across. IT DOES APPLY.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 That makes 9 comments removed. As for the aggressive approach, I have written 7 essays on Jung. Given the anonymous format of this website I cannot share them with you. Agrgessive? You haven't seen anything yet. In particular, my criticicism of p.134-36 of Memories, Dreams, Reflections. 12 pages long, with bibliography and 3 pages of relevant quotes. You are being out-debated. Oh, and, you still have not addressed the ethical issue of a psychiatrist interpreting dreams.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 You seem to be good in math! LOL! anyways, what did all of your oh soooo long criticism get you? A PH D!? LMAO! Listen, your good with the typing, its cute...but its not getting you anything. Outdebated me? LOL!!! I dont speak to shrinks left and right, so i cannot give any info on the dream part. OBVIOUSLY. Oh ive seen my friend, trust me ive seen. Its all words here Darrell, names and dates, dont forget. Essays and critiques, by the end of the day: You cum on essays, i laugh.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 For the 4th time, I do not have anger toward Jung. For the 4th time I find him entertaining and laughable. Names, dates and doing the math is called documentation. I am not blindly flailing at Jung. I am citing specific quotes. For the 5th time, you have not responded to the ethical violation of a psychiatrist (i.e. Jung) using dream interpretation in private practice. On p.42 of Man and His Symbols Jung sais that he could not interpret dreams. Yet for decades he said he could.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 So...you must have a degree by now if you have been studying him since 1978. Or your a fucking proffesor of all things NOT Jung. LMAO! As i said earlier and you did not read, speak to a clinical psychologist about all of your Jungian doubts. I dare you. God forbid your proven wrong! LMAO!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 One does not need credentials in order to be a critic. I am not asking about your academic background. I am not asking if you have ever been published. The same applies to me. I am not the topic here. Jung is. Profanities and text messaging do not constitute valid criticism. So far you have not cited a single quote from Jung. You have not documented anything in support of Jung. Oh, and, by the way, yes. I did indeed graduate from the 2nd grade.
Darrell861 1 year ago

Anyone can write. ANYONE. Anyone can write an argumentative essay on blah blah blah. LOL! Dude, stop jerking off in the mirror.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 You have twice asked me how many books I have written. I have never written a book, nor had anything published. First Jung says that dream interpretation is a science, then says it is not. He dies. Then Von Franz says dream interpretation is a science. Clarissa Estes comes along and says dream interpretation is an art, not a science. There is no right or wrong to art. Thus, there is no right or wrong to dream interpretation. Jungians can make dreams mean what they want them to mean.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Redrum267 You say Jung's ideas are complicated, rather hard to consider, and abstract. I have been studying Jung since 1978. I find his ideas transparent. They are inventions of his imagination. Now if I have it wrong and my problem is that I do not have the intellectual breadth and scope to comprehend the wisdom of Jung's writings, please enlighten me. I'm listening. After all, I did graduate from the 2nd grade. Take your time. Tell me what I'm missing. In 10,000 words or less. Go.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Your clearly wasting time reading about the person you apparently doubt (Why would someone read about someone they dont appreciate? Interesting logic if you ask me...lol!). So is all your shit in print and in books yet? LMAO! So i can say: "Hmmm...maybe hes right..." LMAO!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 James Hall was a Jungian psychiatrist. He said he made it his policy that his clients cannot repeat anything he says to them outside the counseling room. He also ordered his clients to keep a dream journal and give it to him. He then chose which dreams would be discussed in analyisis. He ordered his clients not to consult other therapists. His clients could not terminate the counseling without his approval. --The Jungian Experience, Inner City Books, 1986.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Redrum267 Hall also said that when he thought it was time to terminate the relationship, " The analyst's dominant feeling is more like the joyful pride of seeing one's child grow and leave home." The Jungian analyst is dominant; the client is a child. This is not a private matter of he said she said. These are ethical violations recorded in a published book. Once again, Jungian psychology in its pracitical application is all about holier than thou elitism. Jung has you hook, line and sinker.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 LMAO!!!!!!!!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 That now makes 12 comments removed, and more text messaging. I just mentioned the ethical violations published by James Hall. You did not comment. Once again, I have out-debated you. Jung has you wrapped around his little finger. I don't know anything about you other than the fact that you have posted an entry that professes an unconditional commitment to Jung. By including the reference to Cupid, well, that's creepy.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 PS. There is no need to know anything about me. Except my age and the fact that i can sit here and make you look rather stupid on this page. LMAO, again...@ "outdebated you"
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 You have not responded to anything I have said. I have repeatedly cited passages from Jung's writings in which he shows a disregard for ethics. You have not defended Jung. Take a look at what Jung says on p.134-36 of Memories, Dreams, Reflections. Any psychiatrist who trys to pull off a stunt like that nowadays would be repremanded so fast it would make his head spin. One does not need to be published nor even have a degree in order to make a point.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Redrum267 I do not need friends on my page. Once again, one does not need credentials or even support in order to be a critic. James Hall makes it clear from the outset that he is a devout Jungian and proceeds to write a book which is contains numerous ethical violations. You have not responded. I have graduated from the 2nd grade. I can read and speak English. That's all I need. You are being out-debated for the simple reason that you have said nothing in Jung's defense.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Moreover, YOU! It got you typing and discrediting...OVER AND OVER. Without anyone else agreeing. LOL! for almost thirty or so years, and how far did you get? NOWHERE! Just cheap arguments with strangers online!
AGAIN! where are the books you have published. End of story. when you get a book published about how "right" you are, i will shut up. Until then, LMAO!!!!!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 Thanks for the compliment. You keep saying I need to get published. You have been outdebated, and are impressed by my arguments. No one has the ability to interpret the dreams of others. Jung made that claim for decades and got away with it. I do not care if you ever get published. You, on the other hand, care if I get published. Once again, thanks for the compliment. Oh, and, one more thing. WTF does LMAO mean? --Sincerely, D
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 I am actually more impressed by your inflated ego. All of this "confidence" you try to display means nothing to me. Your an old fuck, trying to get recognized online, admit it. Redrum267 1 year ago
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Also, did we not discuss the archetypes a WHILE BACK? Get your fucking noodle off of loop. MOVE FORWARD. LMAO!!!!!!!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 It's one thing to talk of archetypes as literary motifs which can be copied. It's quite another to talk of archetypes in the Jungian sense: that all humans (going back to prehistoric times) are born with them. That there is a biological basis for them. Jung spent his career tacking back and forth between biology and psychology. This was how he dodged criticism and he got a lot of it. For example when in 1932 he callled Picasso a schizophrenic. Jung never even met Picasso.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Redrum267 I know what it's like to be sucked in by a guru. Jung had me fooled for several years. Some people follow Dr. Phil. Some people follow Jim Jones to Guyana and let themselves get murdered. Some people followed Koresh. Some followed Guerdsciff. You are still following Jung. It's okay, buddy. You'll get over it. Some day you will wake up and see Jung for the fraud that he was. Then you will move forward on your own. You won't need a leader. Give it time. All my best, --D
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 I actually discussed all of the crap you have mentioned and said with a psychiatrist friend of mine, and we both just laughed our asses off! I even mentioned the supposed essays you wrote, Where they are? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS! LOL! Were they ever written? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS! For all i know, you have lied about your so called essays written in so-and-so date about Jung, trying to prove your little doubts and critiques! LOL! Try another one, buddy!

@Redrum267 I have posted 15 of my essays on the Rodger Kamenetz site. Go to Blog, click on drevok or Brillig. Look for my essay "The Normal Doctor." It has no holes in it.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Thats sexy, it really is...ANYONE in the world can and is allowed to post critiques...but did it get you a PH. D? Did it all get you some sort of honor or some type of recognition...I never heard of Darrel Revok.
Ps. Also, by using the world "guru", you are already using a Jungian term...another contradiction of yours. You are NOT at all complicated.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 There is no contradiction in Jung and I using the same term. Anthony Storr has also called Jung a guru in his book Feet of Clay. I posted a 12 page essay complete with a bibliography and 3 pages of endnotes. You have not responded to the content of that essay. Jung says a happily married doctor with a successful private practice is on the verge of death from psychosis. Yet he does not inform the doctor of his diagnosis. Would you like to comment on the content of the essay?
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 No. I would like to go to the library and look for a Darrell Revok book. To convince myself of how "wrong" Jung was. Until then, i will LMAO!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 It's one thing if your next door neighbor Marge says, "Hey, I nterpret my husband''s dreams all the time. Wanna get together for coffee on Tuesday? I'll interpret your dreams." Fine. If you want to be so gullible as to believe Marge, then let her interpret your dreams. But it's another thing when a licensed professional bound by an ethical code makes the same claim, then the client can file a complaint. Jung got away with that scam for decades. Once again, thanks for the compliment.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 You apparently have no idea how the uncoscious works. Again, it is too much of an abstract subject. With ideas and images difficult to grasp. Good example with the Marge thing...BUT it's not that simple. And yes i am casting aside all of those dream books, because dreams are extremely personal and/or sometimes collective and even predictive. In case you havent read that somewhere. You have much to still learn, despite all the shit you have socalled written.

Redrum267 1 year ago
@Darrell861 NO. I said ok because you began comparing opinions to assholes. And this is coming from such a person who so called wrote so many intellectual essays-now im even more in doubt of your essays to be quite honest. Its a shame that you socalled wrote intellectual essays and can use such silly words and dialogue. Very banal and mundane of you to use such comparison...sad.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Again, in which libraries are you essays published, IF they are SO true? And no, its not a compliment...its a dare to publish your silly doubts. Go ahead, publish away...prove me wrong. Until then, your delusions do not scare anyone. "I was born without one?" Such narcissism at such an age...its ok, its in the age. Perhaps you have no one in your personal life to give you such attention, and here i am, satisfying your thirst for it. Interesting...
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 No one taught Jung how to interpret dreams. Yet he claimed to have that ability for decades. Tell me who taught Jung how to interpret dreams. I await your response. If you cannot respond, then it's checkmate. I have out-debated you. Nice try, Redrum. --D
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 You are just angry no one notices, and has NOT noticed any of your ideas. THAT's where your inferiority kicks in with Jung. Narcissistic people tend to feel that way about others superior to them. Its ok...i understand you. LMAO!!!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 Yep, I have out-debated you. Checkmate. Jung was a fraud who claimed to have the ability to interpret dreams. That is an ethical violation. It's also an ethical violation to have open sexual relations with a client, as Jung did with Sabina Sperlein. Jung also invented the meaningless terms introvert and extravert. Those terms have no practical application. Also, Jung contradicts himself when it comes to the matter of nature vs. nurture vis a vis the two terms.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 LMAO so you mean to tell me that just because he contradicts himself, according to you because you seem to be obsessed with discrediting him, in a topic he is TOTALLY wrong? Yes, indeed you are a fucking idiot. You need some cock. Again, i will say, "you have outdebated me" when you actually have a book published since you are so right. So what library are your books published? Lol, are they next to Jungs' stuff? Probably not since you don't have anything published.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Just because he slept with a patient, it makes him a Fraud? So since freud used cocaine to ease his mind, makes his ideas less true? You got a fucked up logic dear Darrell. Again, the only thing you will be checkmating are the balls someone places in your mouth, because your losing conversational power. A clown indeed who likes chess! I laugh at your "essays" collecting dust, as i read Jung! LOL!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 You have already admitted that I have out-debated you. Jung had no comprehension of ethics. That is why he not only had a sexual relationship with Sabina Sperlein, but also claimed to have the ability to interpret the dreams of his clients. He set a distorted precedent for the practice of psychotherapy. Oh, and by the way. What is a cock?
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 I admitted that you have outdebated me? Perhaps your senility is making you hallucinate and is making you think so? I dont recall admitting that, i SAID! and READ clearly: When you publish your socalled essays, i will admit defeat. Otherwise, my arguments keep you company, i sense no one gives you any attention. Perhaps if i leave you alone, you will deflate. And age at the same time!!!
You dont want to be alone in this argument, do you? YOU NEED ME.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 I have posted some of my essays on the Rodger Kamenetz website. In particular, I would like to draw your attention to my essay, "The Normal Doctor." You have said nothing in Jung's defense. In particular, you have not addressed the issue of how Jung learned to interpret dreams. Rather than defending Jung, you have chosen to attack me. It's called the ad hominem fallacy. Since you have said nothing to defend Jung, then I have out-debated you. C'mon. Defend Jung. Just try.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 So you like to copy and paste too? Whats the matter? Running out of words? LOL! I am CHOOSING to not defend Jung because there is no need to, his stuff is printed everywhere, in MANY libraries, it would be silly of me to defend him because it would be putting him in doubt. Again, YOU NEED MY ARGUMENTS. IF I STOP WRITING, YOU WILL GET LONELY.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 I would like to hear you defend Jung. He claimed to have the ability to interpret dreams. In the context of a licensed profession, that is unethical. Some of my essays are posted on the Rodger Kamenetz website. In particular, I would like to draw your attention to my essay "The Normal Doctor." I welcome your criticism of that essay. Thanks, --D
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 LMAO! So because he was "unethical", his stuff shall be removed from all the libraries in the world? LOL! Your angry because no one listens to your bullshit but me. I KEEP YOU COMPANY. YOU NEED ME.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Ad hominem Fallacy indeed...because every doubt of yours has been extremely biased. Jung is far removed from this...this is about YOU. You are the one with the doubts, YOU are the one copying and pasting, "I would like to draw your attention to my essay, The normal doctor". You said those exact words a while back. Say something original, and "opinions are like assholes" dont count. Ive heard that plenty of times. Your arguments=weak.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 "The argumentum ad hominem is not always fallacious, for in some instances questions of personal conduct, character, motives, etc., are legitimate and relevant to the issue."
And in this case, your personal conduct has been extremely biased and narcissistic. LOL! See how i can flip your own shit on you? sad sad sad!
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 You are changing the subject at hand and focussing attention on me. That's called the ad hominem falllacy. Now, back to Jung. Defend him.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 Indeed i am focusing on YOU. Again, because every attack of yours against Jung is biased. Angry, along with your publicly unheard essays that remain hidden in drawers and some off the wall cite you keep proclaiming. You are not flawless, and your flaws are being shown in your arguments. again, i just told WHY i am CHOOSING to not defend Jung. It is useless of me to defend him, because again, as opposed to you, his stuff is printed EVERYWHERE.
Redrum267 1 year ago
@Redrum267 My essay on Jung titled "The Normal Doctor" is posted at the Rodger Kamenetz website. Feel free to read it. Anyone in the world can read it. Once again, Jung's conduct was unethical. If you support him, then defend him.
Darrell861 1 year ago
@Darrell861 You are clearly not reading anything i post. Just replying. I clearly told you why i am CHOOSING to not defend him. YOU HAVE said nothing in regards to that. You are avoiding my statements. Freud was unethical as well, and people still teach his work, Jung-according to you-was unethical, and people are teaching his work. DO YOU SEE now? YOUR arguments and doubts are DEAD ENDS!!!!!!

If you have time, read the essay, and give me your comments. Thanks, --D

Or, you can e-mail me. You have my address. I can send you a number of essays I have written about Jung. Once again, thanks for the compliment. You think I ought to be published. You made my day. --D
